Time to bring out the big guns

The weightlifting has moved up a notch tonight with the men's 105kg - on a par with the heavyweight boxers. When they were brought out for the presentation the 13 competitors were so wide they barely fitted onto the stage as they stood shoulder to shoulder. It's a veritable who's who of unpronouncable names, among them Tavita Tuuamaalii from Samoa and Malaysia's Che Mohd Azrol Bin Che Mat. But as it stands the favourite is a name that rolls of the tongue a little easier, Akos Sandor of Canada. England's Gurbinder Cheema is another medal hopeful.

Hi Editor-people,
The links for Dave Phelps and Steve Partington's blogs aren't working; there's an extra http:// in front of them.

Thanks
