I think Prince Edward's stalking me. Having bumped into him twice at Thursday's mountain biking, who should crop up a few rows behind me at Friday's 1m springboard diving competition but the prince. He's dropped the panama hat and shades he had on the last time I saw him, but a blazer and a pair of slacks still appear to be his outfit of choice.
As it turned out, there was no English success for him to cheer as Toni Indergaard and Claire Blewcowe finished out of the medals. It was a thoroughly one-sided affair won by Canada's Blythe Hartley, who was all smiles for the cameras after each of her five dives.
