Folk, pie and some nice clean clothes
Hi, Dave here on the day before the best day of the week.
That's Friday of course, which means that today must be, Thursday! So tomorrow isn't just any old Friday, because something very special is happening, and it involves Folkface...
Yesterday, which was Wednesday, Dom and I spent the afternoon in intensive folk rehearsals in front of an open log fire with a packet of chocolate biscuits. Unfortunately we can't tell you exactly what we're up to, but expect some new material from Folkface very soon, and possibly some other exciting news.
Jayne and Nicole are currently up north in bingo central Manchester, but the good news is that they've left me a massive portion of leftover chilli shepherd's pie. It's just like regular shepherd's pie except it's a lot spicier, and made from beef rather than lamb and also has kidney beans in it. It's the sort of thing that's better after a couple of days, so I'm going to pop that in the microwave shortly.
I've also got to get some washing out of the machine in a minute, but other than that, it's all pretty quiet on the home front. I appreciate this isn't not the most exciting blog in the world, and you'll probably find this a massive disappointment if you've taken the effort to read this far, but at least you know it's not made up.
Oh well, that's about it from me. Have a nice weekend, and until next Thursday.
Dave.

Sing a song to Andrew Sachs, that'll get you your publicity, you know what they say about publicity.

As to the pie...
Lamb = Shepherd's Pie
Beef = Cottage Pie
In either case though, it sounds great. Love reading the blogs
