Like all here (I expect) I would love to be able to bid for any of these but am really looking forward to coming and answering phones on CiN day. It's so cool that whatever we can do, big or little, will make a difference.
Might there be a possiblity we will bump into you on CiN day?

Morning CLP and fellow Bloggers,
Having managed to clear off the credit cards, the temptation to load one up for such an amazing experience is great.....However, until the economy is a little more certain, I will have to wait for another year.
Fingers crossed that you keep this huge event going then!
I will be keeping an eye out for one of the tables though.
Totally agree with everyone else though - how generous and selfless to give your incredible collection of the worlds finest cars to Joe public for two days.
And as for the Top Gear add on.......Gutted!!!
Just a thought - How much to rent me your Phantom for a weekend?
All in the name of CIN naturally....Haha
Good on you Sir (and I wonder how long that will be?)

Hello folkies,
Can i be on the scrub thingy please . If not, i'll tag along with Crumpy and do some fluffin up, sounds good to me.
Major rant coming folks . My MIL has been in hozzy on and off since May . She was supposed to have a major op last week, and it got cancelled , coz they didnt have enough of the right kind of blood in the operating theatre , and after a two hour wait the surgeon called it off, and it was supposed to be today.
So today, she is all prepped and ready, and at lunch time, they discovered that someone had forgotten to put her on the list.
So now they have discharged her, and told her to come back for the op on the day we are supposed to go on holiday . Plus she is not able to look after herself until she has the op. and no one can get a care package up and running for about a week or so . I could bore you some more, but will stop now.

Guess what, am connected again, after last night's debacle. It was my own fault, just got too impatient and didn't think things through rationally - but then, when was anything to do with computers rational?
Loving the 2nd Class scrubbers bit, making me feel a bit guilty about being a 1st class one now though :(
We have had the weirdest weather and skies in Manchester today, one side of the buidling had blue skies and fluffy clouds, and the other was as dark and as stormy as I've ever seen - looked like the end of the world was nigh!

Well now, what a team. Me, I'm on buffin', Crumps; Rips can do the fluffin' while 'e's holdin' the bucket, hurrah. In the process of packin' for me trip to Dublin via Cape Horn tomorrow, I've dug out a nice boiler suit an' headscarf, my attempt to channel the Vintage Land Girl look, although disturbingly what's starin' back out the mirror at me is less Betty Grable, pin-up, than Betty Turpin, throw-up. Look. It's the thought that counts.
How come, girls, I can advise ANYbody on packin' the definitive Capsule Wardrobe, but whenever I leave for a couple weeks' missionary tour of Ireland, me car looks like the Beverley Hillbillies' wagon. Without the dog, of course. Did an emergency stop on the A55 last time and got welted right round the back a me head by one a me new shoes, shoes that never got worn during the entire 3 weeks anyhow.
Shoes which, by the way, are This Season's Must-Have Platform Shoe-Boots, delighted with 'em I was, till the cousin Baz unkindly remarked that the last time 'e saw anybody wearin' a pair a shoes like that, 'e 'ad a slot in the top of 'is head.

I have come to the conclusion that this 'ere town in which I work, Coooooooooooooolchester, Britain's oldest recorded town y'know, is quite possibly the worst town for rush hour traffic in the UK (and before you all jump on me - hahahaha - I mean TOWN, not CITY). Last week, half term, bliss. This morning, 1 mile = 40 minutes. Now that is just not funny.
And it's not even raining. Bright blue sky, low blinding sun reflecting orf the road ..... y'see.
And that brings me to my next rant. It's November. Fireworks night tomorrow. And there's peopple walking around still in t-shirts and cropped trousers. Where's the coldness gawn!?!? Why isn't it cold in November any more? I used to go to firework displays resembling that tyre man wearing about 73 layers along with thermals. Now ...... not even gloves!

Dozy - we lost out rough collie Rosie earlier this year (2 days after my wedding when i was on honeymoon) - she had been the fam,ily pet since I was a teenager and the first dog we had and I had alwasy wanted - her passing still upsets me as she was a great girl and we spent a lot of time together.
I have had plenty of cats who have gone but I think with dogs its different as they are with you all the time and are much moer loving!
Someone once posted a poem about our pets meeting us on the rainbow bridge and I'm hoping Rosie and all the cats already gone are there waiting for me.
Complain about this comment
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
