But there are other things afoot...

Children In Need Prize - Two Lots

Lot One

Thirty tables of two for the Drive Time Dine And Disco 2010 at my pub, with golf in the morning, Johnnies Quiz in the afternoon (first prize - a night at the show) champagne reception, food by Giorgio Locatelli, wine with our Nigie, disco by me and live music in the tipi from The Feeling !!!

Lot Two

The Magnificent Seven Ride Again.

Seven places plus a partner each to get to drive all seven of my classic Ferraris:

The 250 GT Short Wheel Base.
The 246 Dino
The 250 GT Lusso
The F40
The 288 GTO
The 275 GTB4
The James Coburn California Spyder.

This year our spare car will be my new fabulous 1957 Ferrari Testarossa recreation.

The successful bidders will not only get to drive all 7/8 cars during a two day drive and dine extravaganza taking in the amazing hospitality of the driver's banquet at Chewton Glen in The New Forest but they will also get to go up the world famous hill climb at Goodwood in one of the cars on the Sunday in front of tens of thousands of people

I'm breathless just thinking about it....

Buckle up everyone, here we go again.

All this goes under the hammer on THURSDAY 19th NOVEMBER. Make sure you're near a telephone that day between 5 and 7pm!

Fingers crossed that you keep this huge event going then!

I will be keeping an eye out for one of the tables though.

Totally agree with everyone else though - how generous and selfless to give your incredible collection of the worlds finest cars to Joe public for two days.
And as for the Top Gear add on.......Gutted!!!

Just a thought - How much to rent me your Phantom for a weekend?
All in the name of CIN naturally....Haha

She was supposed to have a major op last week, and it got cancelled , coz they didnt have enough of the right kind of blood in the operating theatre , and after a two hour wait the surgeon called it off, and it was supposed to be today.
So today, she is all prepped and ready, and at lunch time, they discovered that someone had forgotten to put her on the list.
So now they have discharged her, and told her to come back for the op on the day we are supposed to go on holiday . Plus she is not able to look after herself until she has the op. and no one can get a care package up and running for about a week or so . I could bore you some more, but will stop now.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
