WINSTON JAMES FOX, WELCOME TO PLANET EARTH.

Chris Evans | 15:04 UK time, Tuesday, 21 October 2008

Extraordinary circumstances...

... I spend an hour and a half in the most official of meetings and then straight from there to the absolute pure joy of...

Billie and her brand new shiny baby...

YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!

Mother and baby both doing swell, dad, Lol Fox, happy as a pig in the preverbial. There willbe ale at seven this evening I have been assured.

At the time of this writing, the little fella is not even fifteen hours old. He is cute as you like and didn't cry once for the few minutes I was there which was just a few moments ago.

How cool is life ?

CLP.

2008.

Does it make you tummy-scrunching for your own event in the near future too?

I wish you well, Billie and Laurence; enjoy this time because I promise you it will be approximately 10 minutes before he's borrowing the car, wearing his jeans half-mast, sporting a dodgy hairdo and placing yous both firmly on the Naughty Step.

Haven't the energy to catch up but have skimmed the following:

Lovely to hear news about Billie's baby and I completely echo Clodagh's senitiments - leve her alone to enjoy it!

Debs, hope the blog jokes cheered you up, bit stiff upperlippy me (not proud of it) but here's a hearty pat on the back (((((:).

What was all that moderating? BM whatever happened?

Finally, before I take to my bed, just wanted to share this this:

I was setting up for my music lesson in the hall today, when a Y1 girl (aged 5 or 6) popped in to get the register. She didn't see me.

Anyway, she skipped, yes SKIPPED! across the hall to get it. She thought she was on her own and she skipped out of sheer joy of life! Can you remember feeling like that? Think we should all try to skip at least a few steps tomorrow!

    Night all,

The 'Blog Police' will only remove a post if some body requests it, so somebody must have read your post and decided that it broke the rules.

So if one person gets to see it, why shouldn't we all so we can also make our views known, either agreeing or not.

Perhaps the person who requested the post to be moderated would explain themselves.

I don't really like it when posts get moderated, but it is very hurtful when another blogger (or bloggers) aim their venom directly at you for no apparent reason. I well remember my excitement when I finally saved up enough money for a battery-operated lamp for the bedroom, and the subsequent devastation and disgust when I discovered the battery was actually bigger than the wardrobe.

I also remember the nightmare cousin Baz's visit when he left plasticine poo in the toilet and incarcerated a very angry beetle in the fridge which went for me jugular when I released it.
