Extraordinary circumstances...

... I spend an hour and a half in the most official of meetings and then straight from there to the absolute pure joy of...

Billie and her brand new shiny baby...

Mother and baby both doing swell, dad, Lol Fox, happy as a pig in the preverbial. There willbe ale at seven this evening I have been assured.

At the time of this writing, the little fella is not even fifteen hours old. He is cute as you like and didn't cry once for the few minutes I was there which was just a few moments ago.

How cool is life ?

Aw sweet - congrats to Billie. Perhaps our own Jumpin bean has produced her little boy too?

From previous blog - lo James!!! one of those meet myself coming back sort of days!

  • Comment number 3.

Thats so spooky! I was just reading the new blog when Steve Wright announced that Billie Piper has had a baby boy.
Hope Mother and baby are doing well.

  • Comment number 4.

Oh well Beesmum, we all have days like that. The good thing is your's is nearly over, but has just begun....groan.......

As far as the blog is concerned, Life, family, friends and football (LOL) is what it's all about, in my opinion of course..... but not necessarily in that order...LOL

  • Comment number 5.

Congratulations to Ms Piper and Mr Fox and welcome to Master Fox. How lovely. And a big hand shake to you too, Sir.

I am fortunate to be good friends with my significant ex's and I salute you both for being able to do so too.

Does it make you tummy-scrunching for your own event in the near future too?

    Best of everything, ahhhhh,

  • Comment number 6.

Lovely, lovely...hope the babe has her eyelashes...

And how nice to hear some good news.

    It's been a funny day!

So, Christophe, it doesn't even matter if you've got all broody or similar, she'll be going all gooey eyed over yours and Cap'n Tash's soon enough.

    1,2,3 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Fox, and welcome to the world, Small Cub...x

  • Comment number 11.

Congrats to Billie & laurence! Wow what a dynasty of a family to be born into! Little Winston is well and truely a bone fide celeb - showbiz mates abound - yet i feel that his little feet will be securely tied to the ground with such a sensible and lovely family around him. (not to mention all his parent's pals!)

Someone better go down to the shed and tell steve - bet he's oggling "the secret life..." as we speak.

  • Comment number 12.

Ooohhhh! B-smum what did you post?! Can't believe you posted anything offensive about such an amazing event as this

Hey CLP - that's lovely news and as said above by Jen - I think it's fantastic that you and the ex Mrs Evans and your new other halves all get on so brilliantly well.

Life's basically too short to be a***y with one another, dontchafink!?

    B-sMum - you got moderated! That's not like you hun ...... ;-)

007 - no, didn't see the Manc / Newc game last night. But will be watching (at least) the first half of my lovely Gunners take on the Turks tonight.

    Still no spuds peeled ....

  • Comment number 16.

CtD - surely tonsilitus is the best arguement you'll ever have for a takeaway night... and if you get MrD to pick it up on route home then you can snuggle up and watch the fabulous gooners too,

  • Comment number 17.

What did that get taken off for? - just said I was sorry to hear about CLP's first sentence which I hasten to add - on just checking again - has been amended since it first went on!!! Now I see why my comment went! Wont tell a soul CLP!!!

  • Comment number 25.

LOL Jen - I think I may have used up my quotas of takeaways for October .... been a bit takeaway heavy of late - naughty naughty!!

Talking of naughty naughty ... a man on Countdown claimed a 7 letter naughty word beginning with W. and Ch4 bleeped it! hehehehehe .....

  • Comment number 26.

*hand up* I know too - I was going to say something in my post but thought twice about it.

But what did DD say to get the hammer did he remark on CLP's original post as well?

  • Comment number 27.

Congratulations Billie and Laurance. What fantastic news. Excited to hear all about it from Christophe.

Love from Rach and Chris, off to Cardiff Castle for a free tour and free buffet. Yippee!!

Phoenix - no, DD had a politically incorrect joke.

Sometimes I wish we couldn't trigger the 'moderate' button...

  • Comment number 31.

    morning/afternoon all,

Aw congrats to Billie and Laurence. Not long for CLP now either. Wonder how Jumpy's doing - good I hope.

  • Comment number 33.

    Hi Chris

Many many congrtulations to Billie & Laurence on the birth of Winston. I am sure that a few people in Easebourne, will be wetting the baby,s head, tonight. I cannot wait to see little Winston.

    Mel xx

  • Comment number 34.

Now there's a strange one and a what a lot it say's about today's society. If you're blonde or a chav (possibly both) it's OK to have a joke at your expense - perhaps both have a sense of humour - But if you dare have a joke re the travelling community then woe betide you! DD's post was the latter - made some smile, but the PC police came in.

*straightening dyed essex face lift, rearranging trackies, and unhooking hooped earings from collar*

I don't know what the workd is coming to! But for the sake of Little Winston I hope it comes to its senses soon.

  • Comment number 35.

dook - I thought my chav jokes would get moderated too. Really surprised they didn't (they were there last time I checked).

    Weird world.

    Lovely name, Winston.

John Lennon's middle name, it was too.

  • Comment number 36.

...and Chris, if the Badger's on, have a pint for me!

    Eyethangyew and good night!

DD, you should know your limits. I know I do. As I feel I have proved many times...

CtD, for your dinner, you could always nuke the wheat sack. And doesn't that sound like a thingy ontonderer...

  • Comment number 37.

dookegg that is a very good point.

Being a blonde (albeit not naturally) and from Essex (but not born and breed) should I be taking offence at such jokes aimed in my direction......? Nope, methinks not.

  • Comment number 38.

LOL Hazel! That has given me a proper laugh......and I could do with nuking one of those myself tonight. Now that really would be stress relief and he so deserves it hehe.

    Lordy one and all

What's going on is everyone competing for a "I've been moderated badge" or something?

Congratulations to anyone having a baby around these parts.

Bingo - Littlen's called Winston James Fox (clue is in the title!)

CtD - Roger Moore was on last thing on Steve Wright's show - so me thinks 007 was listening intently to that.

Just finishing off here then heading home have kitten with me but won't bore with his antics today - but may be here for a while trying to catch him.

  • Comment number 49.

Cheryl I shouldn't giggle but in the night when LM got out of his bed, Mr Debbie tried to get him back in it.

Now LM, so I'm told, swung his arms around considerably, not at all impressed by this.

He cracked Mr Debbie right where he really didn't want it. Now there were some eyes watering here last night.

Why am I still giggling, bad Debbie.

  • Comment number 70.

So. Today life for the Foxes has changed forever. Hurrah!!! Welcome to lucky little Winston, I wish you a world of love and happiness, brand new little man.

And please God that we don't see Billie splashed all over those disgusting magazines depicting Baby Weight or loss or whatever. But I daresay we shall and I wish with all my heart that I had it within my power to stop sales of said hideous, toxic rags.

I wish you well, Billie and Laurence; enjoy this time because I promise you it will be approximately 10 minutes before he's borrowing the car, wearing his jeans half-mast, sporting a dodgy hairdo and placing yous both firmly on the Naughty Step.

    Along with his Godfather.

  • Comment number 71.

    Hello bloggers,

Well CtD and Tinsel and whoever else, I don't yet know how you did it but I have a fearsome sore throat. Again. Who'd have thought you could catch things over a blog. Even teen 1 has got it, and got it bad.

Haven't the energy to catch up but have skimmed the following:

Lovely to hear news about Billie's baby and I completely echo Clodagh's senitiments - leve her alone to enjoy it!

Debs, hope the blog jokes cheered you up, bit stiff upperlippy me (not proud of it) but here's a hearty pat on the back (((((:).

What was all that moderating? BM whatever happened?

Finally, before I take to my bed, just wanted to share this this:

I was setting up for my music lesson in the hall today, when a Y1 girl (aged 5 or 6) popped in to get the register. She didn't see me.

Anyway, she skipped, yes SKIPPED! across the hall to get it. She thought she was on her own and she skipped out of sheer joy of life! Can you remember feeling like that? Think we should all try to skip at least a few steps tomorrow!

    Night all,

    A x

PS, to many, a bit overwhelmed by whole Facebook thing, please bear with me!

  • Comment number 72.

Hi boleyngirl, sorry your not feeling well. No skipping for me though.

  • Comment number 73.

What a funny day for me it has been on the blog.

But even funnier watching Sunshine on BBC1.

Well... more tears of memories really. Sadness and humour rolled into one filmed in my home town too.

But those were the days my friend they never seemed to end but alas they do.

Great Stuff David Craig and Steve Coogan.

Still think the Ting Tongs whatcha ma call it stink

  • Comment number 74.

    Why moderate?

If some idiot wants to make an offensive remark just leave it there so everyone has the chance to see these people for what they really are and comment on it.

Don't let being moderated become a badge of honour for people who cannot contribute anything interesting and just wish to shock.

If I have a problem with something that has been posted I just tell the person.

Oh, if you think this post is aimed at you, then it is.

  • Comment number 75.

Well done Billie and Lawerence...now its Chris's and Natasha's turn.
Its all baby boom when Evans is around eh? :D

  • Comment number 76.

Well as one of the moderated today I think I had better reply.
Only me, and the blog police and possibly clp know what I said and it was most certainly not offensive - quite the opposite in fact. There are other reasons for being removed and this was one such reason.

  • Comment number 77.

    Morning all!

OK I apologise for any offence caused by what was apparently written under my name. I have no idea what it was, but I notice that I have been moderated. The 2 boys were giggling when I got back and now I know why!

I should not have left my computer unlocked, and allowed the two scallywags that I work with to access my computer while I was at a meeting!

They will pay the price today! The pair of clumps of earth!

  • Comment number 83.

Can I have a rant please:

I reckon a lot of today's ills within society stemmed from when we developed "children's rights".

Rubbish - if we were to do that then what about developing "children's responsibilities" too.

Too many people out there think they have a right to this, that and the next thing without thinking once about what their responsibilities might be.

    Rant over - thank you

  • Comment number 84.

The 'Blog Police' will only remove a post if some body requests it, so somebody must have read your post and decided that it broke the rules.

So if one person gets to see it, why shouldn't we all so we can also make our views known, either agreeing or not.

Perhaps the person who requested the post to be moderated would explain themselves.

  • Comment number 85.

I think it might have been CLP himself - after he changed his own posting!

Kyle - I think your on a losing thread here

    super bp x

  • Comment number 86.

I saw Chris's initial message before it was changed - it was unrelated to the rest of the contents of his message and it was nothing to get excited about. I also saw B's Mum's response to it which was certainly not removed because it contained anything offensive. I disagree with you Kyle that something will only be removed because somebody requests it. In this instance that was plainly not the case.

Also tucked away in the norty drawer was my purple/black punk mohair holey jumper. And it's fab!!!! May just have to go back for the green/black one at sone point ..... !!

Sunshine last night was fantastic! I so wanted Bernard Hill to be my grandad.

    Restaurant tonight - who will win .... ? ? ?

Kyle - the BP remove posts if they contain certain words, and not wanting to be moderated here I can only say a certain word beginning with P which is oft a derogatory term for Travellers. Clue: it has a K in the middle and ends in Y.

I don't really like it when posts get moderated, but it is very hurtful when another blogger (or bloggers) aim their venom directly at you for no apparent reason. I know for a fact that this has put lots of regulars off blogging on here because of some of the lesser constructive comments posted from time to time.

Let's hope that's all in the past now tho, eh?

Any news on jumpyjeni and her nwbie yet?

Yesterday, when CLP's blog was first shown, he said something that later was thought of as inappropriate. It referred to something he had been attending to earlier in the day yesterday, before going to see Billie's baby.

He must have had second thoughts about what he said, or someone else realised it was inappropriate. It was nothing bad in any way, he just thought better of saying it.

In the intervening time, B-smum simply commented (very nicely) on what CLP had originally written. She was moderated because he was too!

Nothing sinister, but I do understand your frustration, I would be feeling the same!!

I thought Kyle you were refering to me actually, as I seem to be top of the league for post removal. I must confess I even removed one myself which I had second thoughts about but unfortunately it came back to haunt me.

I think a blog could get a bit boring if it were all sweetness and nice all the time.
I think the blog is different things to different people.
I confess I have been personal too but I feel the blog has lost some posters because of it's extention to facebook etc.

    Now for something completely different.

check out suferslivewebcam and have a look at the sea today.

    good day.

Mine was a little blue teddy which i callled Teddy Edwards. I used to carry it around with me all day long and wouldn't go bed without it.

My daughter now has a pink teddy called Teddy Teggs as she lost her two front teeth when she fell on a climbing frame and always has to have her teddy at night as it was a gift from the nurses when she went hospital.

Hope you feeling better CTD and your cough goes.

I hope Russell and Michelle win tonight but i think they are too nice for Mr Raymond Blanc.
