He was PARKED outside the Ukrainian embassey, London, at 2.14am ringing his BELLS as if about to serve ICE cream without a TRADING licence. And singing oooover, over the loud SPEAKER/ tannoy Shady Lady by the beautiful Ukrainian Eurovision Song Contest SINGER..... Ani L.... LLLL..... LORAK!!!!!!!! (8) Ani Lorak!

The chase came to an eeeend, end after the Liverpool NUTTER crashed into the boating lake !!!!!!!! (8)
He was surrounded by 9 police CARS and aaaaaproxiamately 99 floating 99 FLAKES !!!!!!!! (8) Still with bell ringing aaaaloud, aloud !!!!!!!! (8)
Bingo Star asks me to condom, (sorry that must mean condemn - Bingo's spelling is terrible) all of his ACTIONS. And sssssay, say it is wrong tttto, to steal an ice cream VAN, impersonate selling ICE CREAM without a valid trading licence, play loud bells LATE at nnnnnight, night, sing Shady Lady late at night and ignore police instructions TO TURN off your bells and come ooooout, out of your ice cream van !!!!!!!! He adds that during the POLICE persuit he never ONCE BROKE the sssspeed, speed limit and always USED his indicators correctly - Even in THE bbbboating LAKE !!!!!!!! (8)

How about this Chris - there's a big difference between a live show and a recorded show. One of them's not live. So on one of them, the presenters can run with whatever's in their head, safe in the knowledge that there's some editorial control going on (usually). On the other, they and only they are responsible for what goes out. Different set of circumstances, only one of which justifies suspensions etc.

Chris, I haven't got a clue what you are thinking but I'm hoping it made you laugh. Me, well I'm looking forward to another cracking show of fun and banter on my drive home. I've reached the grand old age of 40 today and have made a real effort not to let anything or anyone from work put me in a bad mood. I have even managed a whole day without swearing... a miracle in itself. Just the M25 to go so in 5 minutes I'll be in the car with you and the gang to keep me company. Yep, saw the thing about Norton. Not really me as I am involved in four wheeled things, not two, but fantastic news for the British motor industry - or what is left of it. I am all for keeping these iconic old names alive and if it is done in the true spirit of the marque, more's the better.
I'm afraid I side with those who have never 'got' RB and frankly, I see this entire episode as a huge publicity stunt to airlift himself out of the Beeb and onto another planet. Shame we can't actually deposit him on another planet and leave him there.

Why do those that complain get more credence than those who support?
Apart from the hanging comment and a few expletives deleted left on an answer phone, it was actually quite funny! Whilst the boys were wrong to do it, who chose to broadcast it and lacked the judgement to sense that it could/would cause offence, certainly not either of the parties that have been subjected to the witch-hunt. Was it wrong for them to do it, yes but had it not been broadcast it would/should have remained a private matter between Andrew Sachs and RB/JR and the Beeb. Now the moral minority have got involved and it is news around the globe. Just plain daft!!!

PP - I have asked you before what your "beef" is with me (both on here and on FB) and as yet you have never afforded me the courtesy of a reply. To the best of my knowledge, I am never vindictive towards you. If you are referring to the comments on FB ref Blog Bullying, you will have seen that it wasn't me who started that thread, and that the majority of comments are only posted AFTER you have vented your spleen on here.
The one thing that truly irks me tho, is turning my PC on in the morning to see that you have had a late night rant against me. A time of night that I am not about to have my right to reply, or to read your opinion before it is moderated (whether that is by the BBC or other bloggers, I do not know and cannot comment).

Seems a lot of people are on a bit of a downer today!?
On the up side..... My ketchup bottle outfit has arrived! I'm informed by her who picks up the post in a mornin that it's very funny!
On t'other up side... today is thursday... so for those of us who do the mon - fri 9-5 thing (or for those who just like weekends) ... today is the start of the weekend... if weds = peak of the week... anything after that = week end in my book!
I also have a mildy amusing story... i was very nearly 10 when my little brother was born...so have always considered him a baby, so when sometimes he comes out with close to the knuckle stories (at the cheeky age of 14) i am sometimes shocked... but he surpassed himself with his comedy last night by announcing that him and his friend has been making "cocktails using different flavoured pop" ...
and promptly advised that instead of sex on the beach..they'd named their best one "Sex on a pull out futon" .... To which i replied "Oh my god you can't say things like that!!"
he spun round with a cheeky look on his face and said "What??? Pull out Futon??"

I threw at telly at a bloke once which was midly amusing as it was his telly - and i heard at story about someone who booked thier exes retsurant all out so on the night no-one turned up - thats certainly imanginative!

Morning chaps and chaperelles,
Beautiful morning again, and looking out the window I have this morning seen blue tits, great tits, green finches, gold finches, bull finches, chaffinches, nut hatches, kestrels, sparrows, linnets, dunnocks, yellow wagtails, pied wagtails, robins, swans, ducks, moorhens, squirrels and long tailed tits. Not to mention the headless bodies of several field mice, voles and shrews - thanks cats!
Its like my very own Autumn Watch, without the lovely Kate and the slightly bizarre Bill.
Lots to do today, paying for holiday in Jan being the most important, and then a tad of packing for a long weekend in Estonia - my homeland. Can't wait!

Do stories about not quite an ex count?
My 1st husband and I had split due to differences of opinion - the main one being he thought it was ok for him to sleep with someone else and I didn't. But he got ill, cancer of the thyroid, and we agreed to start again and make a go of our marriage. He went into hospital for the operation and was in there for about a week. On the day he was discharged I was supposed to go and pick him up, so phoned the hospital to see what time and they said he had already gone.
I drove to the house to see the other girls car parked outside, let myself in and crept upstairs. You can imagine what I was faced with upon opening the door.
He leapt out of bed and ran to the corner of the room, trying to hide his modesty. I flew at him and landed a good solid punch to his throat - which was still stitched up from the operation and incredibly sore and weepy. The girl was made to leave in her undercrackers and not much else.
Its not a very funny story, and it wasn't necessarily clever - but it felt chuffing marvellous!

Chris - I think you're probably thinking "there but for the grace of God go I", am I right? I feel a bit sorry for Andrew Sachs but I am glad we live in a country where people can have opinions of their own. I think so many people are delighted to see RB trip up and are just jumping on the bandwagon. I know he is a bit of an acquired taste but I still like him.
Having a bit of a family crisis at the moment and it makes you get things in perspective so I have no desire to come on here and have a row with someone, I wish everyone could get on with eachother but maybe it's just not meant to be.

Anyhoo, all the hullaballoo, one gone, one probably not. Well done to Mr Gervais (I'm not keen on The Office or Extras but I think his stand-up is superb) for his restrained comment on the One Show last eve. Mountains and molehills spring to mind. I'm still very dubious about the young 'lady' concerned though I have to say. I wonder if ticket sales for her tour have gone up now due to the, ahem, 'adverse' publicity..?

Trevor locke i loved... but only for what he was meant to be... a whimsical floaty odd little fellow (A nan kid type chap!) there for laughs alone, mostly at his expense, which he didnt mind. i have some great memories of him on the BBC6 Music show. (still got LOADS of the podcasts from back then aswell.... very VERY funny!)
i write comedy...believe it or not. hahaha. had some stuff performed at a couple of low key venues at edinburgh a couple of summers ago. just getting back into it after a long break. Working all day and writing all night is ok, but it's not easy to do for long periods of time!!

if i had my way i'd have loads of moggies but mr diva said 1 and 1 only. we've had soots for 10 years now - she's almost 12. my heart melted when we went to adopt her - there were so many beautiful felines there, all looking to be loved and taken to a good home .....
mind you, soots is ideal - she hates other cats so whilst we have her, we can't have any others.

ps: Hazel's cat sent sooty a text one night. i think he was trying to chat sooty up and using his mummy's phone without her knowledge .... naughty colin!

My old gran had a cat called Linus (he used to pee on people he didn't like!) she always left the sash window open slightly so he could come and go as he wished. One day she came home from work early only to find Linus had invited all his pals over. Apparently there were about 15 other cats all lounging about her chairs and sofa. When Linus saw her he jumped up and looked around and started hissing at the others as if to say " how did they get here - how dare they - how rood!"

We have 3 cats 1of which was a stray that moved in 8 years ago and stayed! The other 2 tolerate him but it took a while. He is a special cat though cos he's got 22 toes! His front feet look like he is wearing boxing gloves with these huge thumbs sticking out! Has to be seen to be believed.

I have got 4 cats. 1 stray that lives outside and Pepper who is 10yrs old. Then there is Dave who i looked after for a friend but know has made her home with us. (Yes she is a girl!!!!) She got out before she had her op and had 4 kittens on the 1st July and i kept 2 of the kittens.
They all greet me when i get home from work and put a smile on my face.
Rosie did you work their when Gavin was the boss? If so i bet you know my dad as he is a regular?
Wasn't it great that Russell and Michele won?

dookegg, - - never meant to comment on Mr Wans sexuality or think i was "outing" him in any way. He's just a friend of a friend that's all, been in the same drinking circles and such like a few times on that minute smattering of bars / club (singular since one recently shut down!) endearingly called a "scene".
I haven;t been out for months there but have to say whenever he's there he manages to create a little buzz round him and is an all round lovely fella from what i gather. I want his fashion sense!!

What I can't understand is that it is so easy to register a complaint on the BBC website. However when you want to register support it is impossible to do so! The BBC can tell you 20,000+ complaints but not how much support there is! Surely if there is a 'Complain' button (and only 3 steps to register a complaint) then there should be a 'Support' buttonm that is just as easy to use. That way we could have a balanced view of 'Complaints Vs Support'

Isn't the big furore about halloween an American import? Up here we used to go guising - knock on doors ask if the occupants were "dein halloween?" if yes we got "plunder" if not we moved on! And I remember struggling to carve a lantern out of a Neep - pumkins haven't been the lantern of choice over here that long.
Ah well must put nose to the grind stone for the last 15 mins. :-{

How I agree with thunderbirds83. Especially this week. Every kind of humour must be available on the BBC but those who put out prerecorded stuff need to be on the ball in case something is as unacceptable as the thing no one is mentioning!!!
