The cream of the UK's urban and pop talent have joined forces to create a new song, 'Wish I Belonged'. Backed by the 80-piece BBC Symphony Orchestra, 'Wish I Belonged' features Fazer, Angel, Tyler James and Stooshe, with net profits going to BBC Children in Need.

Our friends at ASDA are supporting BBC Children in Need for the 12th year running. This time they're encouraging everyone to bake cupcakes and cookies and throw a Tea Party or Bake Sale to raise money - and they've got some celebrity friends to show how it's done!

Girls Aloud's brand new single "Something New" is the official BBC Children in Need single for 2012. It's released on 18 November 2012, and the girls will perform the song for the first time on the annual BBC Children in Need Appeal Night show on Friday 16 November.

Famous chocolatiers Lindt are hoping to raise thousands of pounds for BBC Children in Need this year though auctioning off porcelain bears signed by celebrities like Jessie J. They're also hoping to raise £25,000 by asking people to 'Share the Bear' on Facebook too!

BBC Radio 2 launches an evening of live comedy and music for BBC Children in Need appeal. Stand Up For Pudsey will take place on Monday 22 October at the Prince Edward Theatre in London and will feature top comedians including Jo Brand, Julian Clary and Rhod Gilbert.
