now now DC....I think you'll find I mentioned the blog within the first 12 mins of the show - and I'm fairly certain we got some shouts in for you all too. It was incredibly busy tonight, and I did keep checking to see if there were new postings....so don't give me a hard time. I'm bracing myself to get killing innocent shellfish this weekend, I need all the support I can muster!

I dont know how you will manage to keep an eye on it all - seriously between blog, facebook, calls, txt and emails it can only get tougher.
So now that I have been nice Justin Currie - What is Love For, from his superb album.

Also it is amazing what you can miss in your suggestions. I searched for years for a copy of Bobbie Gentry's Delta Sweete lp. I finally managed to get a copy a couple of weeks ago....the first track:
Okolona River Bottom Band

#9, just quoting your boss........
;-)
Just joking really, cos I know Babs is loyal to her bloggers.
Now, it just so happens that David Gilmour, a very successful SOLO artist, has pursued his career after leaving Pink Floyd. He produces his own music from his houseboat on the RIVER Thames and does a wonderful rendition of "Wots.. uh.. the deal", which could be argued to refer to playing CARDS. My ADVICE is that you play this track and you'll cover the entire week's themes in one!
Pity I work on a Thursday, but hey, I'll be able to LISTEN AGAIN (so that covers Bryan's advertisement for BBC iPlayer).
Unfortunately I can't think of a Fred Macauley link other than that he knows one of my pals in Dundee.
There you go, your show is sorted for you

DC I don't get the impression Mrs Wallace perceives Bryan as her boss. So that may be Mr Gilmour relegated from the playlist.
Complain about this comment
ah yes Norrie, but of course it's that difference between perception and reality that is important. Mrs Wallace is well aware of who is boss and I think my bloggers know too!

Well, that's Bryan dealt with, but what about the lobsters?

#18 part 1:
PCPCPC!!!!!!
part 2:
...followed by green and brown bits for tea? Include me out. Better to keep it clean & out of sight. Best to put the lobster straight into the bubbling water then hold down the lid!

Are they Kosher ?. Lobsters, that is.

I think they may be more concerned about being skewered through the head or boiled alive than with their Jewish dietary status. Though it must give them a little comfort to know that not all humans are intent on cramming them in to wellingtons for transport to the pot.
I think we may have deviated somewhat from discussion of the Top Twenty.
