Shoulda, woulda,coulda...
Mistakes, errors, regrets and saying sorry for them is the theme for tonight's show and here at the BBC it's something we're very good at. A quick online search brings up thousands of hits with us apologising for everything from the Blue Peter cat to the Queen's non hissy fit with Annie Leibowitz .
Seems we have made almost as many mistakes as the latest Harry Potter film. Movie buffs have logged over sixty mistakes in the film since it's release last month.
I normally manage one or two a night and last night was no exception. "That text is from Roger Glasgow who is in Bath" said I. Roger's next text pointed out that he was actually Roger from Glasgow and was enjoying the show in the bath. Oh well.
Let's have your suggestions of songs where they got it wrong...

Harry Potter?!? Who gives a huckle? Has Hoppo had the hump? Has he gone hunting hedgehogs in his Hummer? Is he hiding in a honkytonk? *hic*
Highland hermit? Holiday in Hawaii? Here or hereabouts?
Have a hug in a huddle, Hoppo. Head home.

There is a great Bowie track which was released on his Sound and Vision Box Set called After Today, it is brilliant but the band falls apart at the end and they never went back and did a full take which is a real shame.
David Sanborn on Sax and Luther Vandross on backing vocals.

Oh, I dunno. I know Bryan was on holiday, but if we can get some Zappa on the show then there is hope for everyone.

I'm a-goin' to stay where you sleep all day
Where they hung the jerk that invented work

Where you never change your socks
And you never throw rocks
And your hair is never parted?

I love Connie Francis and "Who's sorry now" is my favorite of all her songs.. Such a tragic life and a beautiful voice.

Hear! Hear! Scotchgit, but I'm hoping any Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart or The Incredible String Band are not played in the absence of GreggaryPeccary, who won't return until 24th August
