Sheikhing all over...
Forget Gun and Roses Chinese Democracy ( 14 years in the making!) the album that I really want to hear is the one that Sheikh Abdulla Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa allegedly paid Michael Jackson to record.
Fancying himself as a bit of a songwriter, the Sheikh's plan was to get Jacko to record his demo tapes and turn them into an album. He also said he paid for and built a recording studio for him and Jackson to make records together.
At £4.7 Million it has to be the ultimate vanity project.

I've also heard that apparently Wacko Jacko is making an album of song by Robert Burns as he hs a massive Burns fan. I'm not sure whether I want to hear it or not...

Re glenmiller's post 2 and JFA's 4, it is perhaps not co-incidental that in Gaelic "ruinnseach" translates as a "tall vulgar woman"!

Bryan's post reminds me of the Saudi Prince who ran away from home to live in a Californian commune.
He became known as the Hippy Hippy Sheikh.

I would rather not hear any Michael jackson records ever again. I have views on why not but will not put them in print.
