It's in the bag...

Bryan Burnett | 18:06 UK time, Monday, 6 October 2008

gnr08.jpgI'm back at work today after a weekend of star spotting at The Great North Run. Myself and my mate Stewart shared a lift with Tony and Cherie which was fun, although I should point out it that was a lift as in an elevator as one of my pals thought I meant that The Blairs had stopped the jag and offered us a hurl to the race! I also managed to get some swimming tips from our Olympic gold medal winner, Rebecca Addlington. Lovely girl and really encouraging about my doggy paddle. However, Kirsten suggested that before posting the picture online I should point out that despite appearances, the hangbag really does belong to Rebecca!!!rebecca.jpg

Good to see you completed the Great Run in under 1 hour 20!!

We are dissapointed you failed to mention your train journey to Newcastle and how you and your mate were stuck listening to 5 squacking women for over an hour!

You made H's hen weekend memorable as she kept telling anyone who would listen she met a'Celebrity' on her hen weekend!!

We can supply picutres if you require!!

Maria - Mills was a no show. Still I suspect he would not have come close especially as I had my speedy new shoes on.

Helene's hens - great fun meeting you. We were thinking about you as we got tanked into the second bottle of sparkling water! Hope you all had a great weekend and have a fab time at the weddin'

Well done BB, I am sure you would have made Mills eat dust had he not been too scared to challenge you....perhaps he heard yours and Barbara's pre run hype last week!
