Monday:
The news has been full of it, Abba sang about plenty of it, while for Simply Red it was just too tight to mention. Yes, it's the Credit Crunch! So let's try and cheer up the markets and get the city moving with a host of monetary suggestions for tonight.
Tuesday:
Estelle on the A9 came up with tonight's suggestion - clothing and wardrobes. Everything to do with clothes from wearing them to washing them. Could this be the night Vic has to play Lady in Red or can you come up with some tunes to save his blushes!
Wednesday:
It's the Return of the Running Man! Bryan's back - after a rather exhausting break marathon training in the States - so we're going to celebrate his endeavours with your songs about exercise - Olivia Newton-John got Physical, while Jackson Browne was Running on Empty, and of course Bruce Springsteen was born to do it.
Thursday:
After the politeness of our Forms of Address theme last week, we're returning to a double theme tonight with Compliments and Insults - so while on the one hand You're Beautiful you may also want to tell someone you Married a Monster from Outer Space - thanks to Joe the Jam Man for tonight's theme.

Come on Norrie put your toys back in the pram and rejoin the merry wit and banter which is BB's blog.
I'm sure Debs does have exceptional taste in music and that will be balanced by some of the exceptional "mince" which is quite often asked for with never a hope of being played.
In comparison with some posts on other blogs you're getting off quite lightly with just some gentle ribbing from GM and AFR.
Just for Julie and Maria (time for the GOM hat). HoppoLocos, which tunes would you like BB to play out of your very extensive list? If he was knackered after marathon training in the states, he'll need a lie down in a dark room to recover from reading that lot. Afternoon GIO bloggers. Much excitement as BB is back in the building and warming up for his return tonight.
Before the show kicks off, I just wanted to remind you all (and you know who you are!) that this is a forum for everybody, that's everybody, to contribute to.
The programme thrives on your input and Bryan and the team would hate to think that anybody, regular or newcomer, felt unable to post their messages, their way. And I'm getting the distinct impression that the over-riding tone on the Blog lately is putting people off. I think it would put me off, frankly!

Good theme to come back and get it on with Bryan. Not actually about running, Neil Young's 'Long May You Run' would still be appropriate. 'King of the Road' - Proclaimers, 'Running Man' - Jimmy Nail or 'On the Road Again' - Willie Nelson would also be good. Having been soaked the last few times I've been out running, 'Here Comes the Rain Again' - Eurythmics' or 'Have you Ever Seen the Rain' - CCR might be more like it but I do like 'Born to Run' by Jason Ringenberg. 'Thorn in my Side' - Eurythmics would do for tonight or tomorrow.

In future I will have to restrain myself and try for a few quality tracks, but on this occasion I got carried away and nearly moved on to swimming, and there's always Dexy's Midnight Runners, and I'm getting carried away again. The best ever must be Idiot Wind by Bob Dylan and he also did Like a Rolling Stone and Positively 4th Street, and there is alwasy How do you Sleep by John Lennon. Re my earlier blog I recall hearing that Running Bear was / is Gavin Hastings' 'song' and he was known to get extremely miffed at rugby parties / drinking sesisons if anyone else sang it. I am also trying to work out how I can get Pressure Drop included, I am trying to start a campaign to have this adopted as the Scottish national anthem, just because it's such a great song by just about anyone Toots, Specials, Jack Johnson, Robert Plamer et al.

Thanks for the mention on the show Bryan, well pleased. First blog, a name check and a song played. It can only go downhill from here. As to the name Harryfaegatehoose it was going to be Hippo Locos as I currently have a thing about hippos and for my sins I currently wander down on Saturdays to watch Inverurie Locos in the Highland League. Used to go and see Aberdeen play, but that got too depressing. I am now thinking that Hoppolocos sounds a bit Greek and intellectual. The initial blog was done this morning as I arrived at work and was a bit bored- and it just kind of ran on after initially thinking I wouldn't be able to think of more then two or three songs.
