What you've been saying about week 6 of Strictly

BBC Strictly Gemma BBC Strictly Gemma Online team

In the build up to week six of Strictly Come Dancing, we've not only had a whole host of lovely guests gracing our positively plush #ittakestwo sofa, but we've had some funny and fantastic comments from you guys.

Our daily #ittakesbrew is gaining followers with a pictures sent in that we've passed onto our tanning lady so she can update her colour charts for those spraytans;

It Takes Brew montage

We think our cutest addition to the brew collection this week came from jonesmcleod who sent in this picture;

It Takes Brew with milk

with the comment "we're ready ! Brew for me, milk for my two year old son!" Altogether now... awwwww.

At the start of the week (last Monday) there was a lot of love for our eliminated couple Colin and Kristina. Caroline Morris' 9 year old son, was upset Colin had gone out; "We were amazed by your high kicks!" she wrote. Julie Rewston from Nottinghamshire was "so sorry to see Colin and Kristina go...sadly missed and don't forget 'keep dancing'."

After Artem Chigvintsev forgot his shirt yet again for the Paso Doble, we obviously had quite a few comments sent in on the subject. Linda Fisher said what we were all thinking - "Could Artem leave his shirt off please?" with Babara Adams summing it up with her "phwar..."

Karen Linley and Pat Kemp immediately commented on how they would love to dance with Brendan after his appearance on It Takes Two with Victoria. Who wouldn't?

There was also a lot of love for Zoe's red shoes. So much so, we took a picture of them and included them in this weeks gallery. Here's another chance to see those A-MAZ-ING shoes;

Zoe's best shoes so far

Linda Rasmussen, Julie Evison, Laurie Goldsmith and Valerie Keddie we just a few people who LOVED those shoes. We have to admit..they were special.

It was the turn of Dani Harmer and Vincent Simone to dance out the It Takes Two week with their Tango to ‘Rumour Has It’ by Adele. Here they were in the main Strictly studio;

And you couldn't get enough! Pat Parkes commented on the "lil pocket rockets. love em" while Julie Hodges thought that "Vincent and Dani looked good just now in practice"

There was a lot of love for our Friday Panel - Conor Maynard, John Partridge and Su Pollard. Rachel and Sheila Mansley loved them all. In fact Sheila thought that "all Friday Panels on It Takes Two this year have been great!" Well thanks very much. Big smiles in the production office.

Su Pollard had something to say...

You particularly loved how John really new his stuff. Lauren Crockford "loves John Partridge. Need him as my life coach!" while Marie Gray thinks that we "should have John there every Friday! A big ray of sunshine."

And finally, we think that Shirely White summed it up quite well during the show on Friday; "sssh and do not disturb. I'm watching It Takes Two."

Well there you have it. Another week has passed and we're now on the road to Wembley!

We hope you're ready for quite a week on It Takes Two and don't forget you can always send your questions and comments to our guests. Just look out for our daily shout outs.

Thank you again for getting involved! We always love your input.

See you tomorrow!

    Please Zoe, every now and then you drop in some French, and it's a really nice idea .... but when you say "allez vous-en" - which you do quite often, you're actually saying "go away" !!!! I think you probably are meaning to say "Allons-y" which means "let's go" - far more enthusiastic and encouraging, n'est-ce pas???? Otherwise love the show, keep up the good work!

    Is it me or is Robin tuning into a Klingon? When he removed his topper both times this weekend and especially under the elimination light you could see that the blood vessels in his head are forming true of Lieutenant Worf! Shame we had to see a better dancer go this week but that is the public vote!

    Absolutely delighted that Erin and Richard got through - hope they have another great week ahead of them. Will keep supporting them for as long as they stay in.
    Great to see lovely Anton doing behind the scenes bit tonight; he should definitely be given this job more regularly, especially as it's the only opportunity we have to see him now he's no longer in the weekly show. Boo!!!!

    Can't believe Kimberly and fern in dance off ! Does BBC publish voting figures ? I think we should see them as we honestly believe there has been a mistake ! If its all above board they should be shown on a weekly basis after each show - it would add to the excitement as well as reassure the public it isn't a fix !

    What an amazing weekend. Couldn't believe Kimberley has found herself in the bottom two but did very well in the dance off. This year it is so close to call.

    I don't understand why the points scoring system from the judges vote is scored in the way it is. When a tie or more than one tie happens the lowest score is clearly increased as happened last nght, Michael having 3 points and not 1. This can never really be matched by the pubic vote as it would be highly unlikely that a tie occurs, however it will make a difference when points are combined. I'm sure that this was the case last night with Kimberly and Fern being in the dance off. Can anyone explain the logic?

    What a difference no Brucie makes! The show was so much better on Saturday night with Tess and Claudia, slicker, smoother and altogether much more enjoyable. I know that Sir Bruce is a 'national treasure' but it is way past time he hung up his 'dancing shoes' and left it to Tess, who holds it together anyway every week, while Sir Bruce is mis reading his autocue. Claudia did Tess's job really well, why not keep this partnership?

    loved the absence of Bruce agree faster and slicker but best of all we were able to have comments from all 4 judges on every dance. I hate it when they skip a judge

    I do wish the audience, and the other judges, would let Craig finish his comments before they shout him down. He has to get his criticism in first before he gets drowned out but, when allowed, nearly always finishes with constructive comments. All the judges have their own 'take' on the dances and whilst all their views are valid Craig often seems to be the only one not to play favourites!
    Also, is Aliona recovering from her injury? and will we see her again soon?

    Love love love Strictly and will miss Artem and his smile (which is just as lovely as his muscles) Have to agree things were better without Brucie. Have missed Claudia being part of the show and loved her being back. Brendan was brilliant, he made his partner look wonderful. Sorry to Victoria, she's gorgeous and although she did look better this week I think it is due more to Brendan's dancing skills than hers.

    Getting tired of Goodman throwing his toys out of the pram when he disgrees with Revel Horwwod. You are supposed to be the head judge Len, behave like one.

    How could Craig give Victoria a higher mark than Loius! He's my favourite and can we please have a closer up of Zoe's shoes each night! I love them x

    Very sorry to see Fern and Artem leave this week - really like their partnership. Thought Nat and Michael would be in dance off - and even though Michael has improved greatly - still would have proferred to see Fern at Wembley. If my friend Yvonne reads this comment I know she will not agree with me as she voted for Michael this week. Oviously not a wasted vote!!!

    I think the two girls did a good job on Saturday, but what do you all think of my Suggestion for a long term replacement for Bruce and Tess. Brian Conely ( comedian and actor, musicals) and along side him Lisa Snowdon I think these two would have the right chemistry and personnality What do you all think ????

    I think Tess and Claudia did a brilliant job - the programme seemed to flow much better without Bruce F. Bruce has been a brilliant entertainer for many years - but maybe it is time to say for this particular programme - "nice to see you, to see you not."

    I'm in rural Ireland living a 'back to nature' lifestyle but Strictly is my guilty concession to popular culture!

    Because the BBC won't give those of us who don't have a TV (yes, we are out there) the option to access the iPlayer on a 'pay-per-view' basis, I only get to watch the dances on YouTube and although I wish I could hear the judges comments, I don't miss the other stuff at all - especially not the 'star' presenter who gets paid handsomely for reading aloud and can't even do that!

    I don't miss the boring VTs about training and the celebrity's 'journey' either - that's what ITT is for and I'd much rather see this time filled with more dancing - of all different kinds. Some REAL flamenco would be my choice but there's hundreds of amazing dances they could showcase.

    One thing I would say is that from just watching the dances and then looking at the scores on Wikipedia, I'm at a loss to explain some of the marks this series. Even taking into account Craig's argument that the other judges mark too high too early in the series (which I agree with) and the fact that I think he is the most balanced of the judges (taking all the rehearsed bitchiness aside), some of his marks have been very puzzling.

    I guess even the judges just find certain dancers/dances more appealing than others but although he's not one of my personal favourites I think Michael is getting a really rough deal - he's really not THAT bad. By contrast, I'm not getting the 'Denise/James' thing at all - I just don't feel anything when I watch them dance, however technically good they are, and although I really like Louis, his facial expressions are a bit difficult to work out. Of course, this could also be down to the fact that I love Flavia's dancing and don't really like James' that much (loved him with Pamela though!)

    To be honest, I'd prefer it it everyone danced every dance and all stayed in until the end, I wouldn't really mind if there wasn't even a winner but if there must be, they could be chosen in the final show - or would that dent the profits from the phone lines too much?!?!

    Anyway, it's my birthday on Saturday so we're going to a friend's house to watch the whole live extravaganza on a real TV as a birthday extravagance - at least I won't have to pedal so hard to charge the laptop for my Strictly fix!!!

    In the meantime, it's back to the decidedly unglamorous Irish weather and the goats, chickens, goose and my wonderful dancing runner ducks - Margot (Fonteyn), Isadora (Duncan), Josephine (Baker) and, of course, Flavia Quackace!
