Hold the front page! Team Ri-Ro (Riley and Robin) are officially the couple to beat. Lisa even managed to tame Craig, "YOU. CAN. DANCE", was his refrain.

Our first Strictly weekend has even seen a few seachanges, a new judge, a female-to-male lift and even Bruno seems to have been hanging around Craig to long, Daaarrrrrllliinng! So here's those all-important scores on the floors in full.

It's really interesting reading all the posts on this blog and there's lots of love out there for Lisa & Robin and the Cha-Cha-Cha they performed last night, not that I'm surprised because I agree that hers was the best overall performance of the weekend (I know Kimberley's Cha-Cha-Cha was great but Lisa's had more energy in it and she really 'sold it' whereas I felt that Kimberley held back a bit, although I'm sure she'll let go over the coming weeks). I think another reason people loved Lisa & Robins routine was the music!! Super song choice by Robin as it really got people going right from the start and it really made you want to get up and dance (like Mark & Karen's 'Hot Hot Hot' Salsa years ago). I think the music is SO important for me, as if I love the music right from the start it gets me hooked on the routine and if you love your music it makes you want to get up and dance and for me that's what counts!! The sheer look of enjoyment on both Lisa & Robins faces was priceless and I hope they go far in the competition because they really deserve to!! Oh and for those people asking whether that was an illegal lift at the end, well I really don't think it was because Robin jumped into her arms so technically she didn't actually lift him off the ground!! Can't wait to see what they do next!!!! Go Lisa & Robin!!!!

Ok, really that is ridiculoso! VP below JOHNNY BALL? ok, yes she forgot the steps, but she was a CLASS DANCING ACT! when matt di angelo forgot his steps he did not get nearly as low scores-even though he sat down on the stairs and didn't finish! it is an OUTRAGE! GO TEAM BRENDLETON!!!!!!!!!!1

How great were Lisa and Robin, made me want to get up and join in. Of course Robin is fantastic and Lisa is a very lucky girl. Go team RiRo woo hoo

i love strictly very much, but Friday was dreadful i'm sorry to say, because of Bruce . He said the
show was running a bit late, could i be so bold as to suggest he stops talking so much, some of the judges did not comment on one of the dancer's, but he was still allowed to waffle on.

✩ Loved Lisa & Robin's routine. Far and away the best dance of the two evenings and totally deserved top of the leader-board slot. All the elements SCD is trying to achieve. Entertaining good Dancing and a great partnership rather than well performed with zero chemistry. Kristina did very well with Colin despite the height difference handicap. Natalie and Erin again showed what great teachers they are (Judges need to remember Richard is NOT Russell). Fern is bringing out the lighter side of Artem. Sid was a pleasant surprise.

Someone needs to take the auto-cue away, Bruce is much better unscripted.
Please stop patronising Dani & Vincent (this means both Tess and Bruce).

A great start and looking forward to next week. ♬
