When there’s no room left in hell, the dead will…Dance the Cha Cha? That’s right, it’s time to carve out your pumpkins, slap on the fake blood and get your dancing shoes on as Strictly Come Dancing does Halloween. It’ll be spookier than a bump in the night, as eerie as a room full of waxworks and as terrifying as a hug from Craig! If you don’t believe us, here’s an Exclusive sneak preview for you.

See how our remaining couples are doing in training for Saturday’s spook fest, when Pasha will become a new member of Growls Aloud as he dons a werewolf costume and Nicky creates a monster in the form of Karen. Michael is definitely more Ballroom than Latin, loving Louis and Flavia again - they are the couple to beat!!

Well some interesting music choices! great to see things coming along so well in the training room, this could be a strictly scary weekend? Wishing everyone well in rehersals and looking forward to Saturday night.

Agree about the music choices, although generally they have been better than the last series. Michael Vaughn doing the quickstep sounds good, and perhaps a more disciplined routine will suit him better, but it will surely show if he has any sense of rhythm. I feel the other most vulnerable are Sid and Richard and frankly wouldn't miss either of them!

Hey did any of you denise and james's bit of training?
Did you see how sweaty James was? I could see huge pit stains, a HUGE chest stain and a big back stain as well. Denise wasn't even breaking a sweat!
You could tell that James was dancing a lot

Oops. Zoe might have starting something rolling here. Halloween upcoming, so what ARE the contents of red riding hoods basket? We have had the 'head-in-a-box' movie, could this be the 'head-in-a-basket' sequel? Or perhaps something REALLY scary, like a vinyl 45 of 'long haired lover from liverpool' ? Enquiring minds... are probably better off never knowing ;)

    Hi all,

And we have the music and dance choices for this weekends Halloween show and some are good some couples will redeem themselves while others should be definitley worried.

The 3 tangos 2 are impressive but for me 1 just doesn't work Victoria and Brendan and Louis and Flavia have the pick of the choices and they are both dominant sexy music numbers which will demonstrate their dancing ability though for Nicky and Karen 50/50 for me because Weird Science for me I have listened to the music choice and it's sounds a bit childish for me and after Nicky recieved praise last week he really needs to up his game.

Also the two cha, cha's 1 of them coulkd work one of them might not Sid and Ola didn't exactly cover themselves in glory and it was only the public vote that got them through and the theme from Ghostbusters my opinion plenty of props and plenty of messing about.

Colin and Kristina's Salsa is a good music choice but the problem I have with these two is the height difference between them okay the Bind theme worked and there was plenty of nice lifts but for me it was like Colin was lifiting and swinging a rag doll.

Also Dani and Vincent's Cha Cha to the Scooby Doo theme for me to many props and to much messing about and taking a long time to get it going could be a danger for this couple.

Also Denise and James they have a great dance and a great music choice as well plenty of hot moves especially with the hips and thighs a judges guilty pleasure.

My favourites of the night will have to be Lisa and Robin they have a great Charleston and a great music choice funny and comic I have a mental picture of the routine and it will be great also after last week's shambles Micheal and Natalie really have to redeem themselves and a quickstep to The Old Black Magic should just about crack it looking forward to that one.

    That's my opinion

I know that I said that team KAnicky was my favourite but the person that I would like to see win if she could get technial part of the dance right is Lisa. can't wait for Saturday

    Hi all again,

One couple I forgot to mention was Fern and Artem now this couple are my biggest worry this weekend.

Simply because Killer Queen by Queen is great for Artem's version of an American Smooth he did a similar routine last year with Holly Valance and it worked well it divided the judges though.

Fern Britton for me comes across as to mumsy I saw it in last week's Charleston and with the TV shows she's presented well co-presented This Morning, All Star Mr and Mrs, Ready Steady Cook all feelgood shows so for me she comes across as way to mumsie for this routine and for this routine and song she will need to show her dominant tough side and for me I think she's in danger this week.

    That's my opinion

Looking forward to Halloween night on Saturday. I noticed quite a lot of sweaty stains, wot about Robin, Lisa is keeping up with him. I still think they could make it to the end!! Not sure about the music this time, last year will take some beating. Looking forward to Fern and Artem again, they were superb in Hollywood week doing Mary Poppins. Not one couple is racing away with this year, there are a few who could do the long haul and hope they do cos it makes for good viewing.
    Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Dancin :-)

I keep losing my comments before posting them......

Really looking forward to tomorrow. Training footage looks really good - plenty of contenders for the final. At the moment the outstanding couples are Team Smurf and Team VanJam with Team Flouia in hot pursuit. Most likely in the bottom 2 - Team Howznat and Richard and Erin.

If it's anything like last years, it's going to be FAB-U-LOUSSSSSS!! Can't wait :-) Good luck to Sid and Ola, what a week in training for poor Sid, it can't be easy swapping partners, although Iveta seems very good. I'm sure Ola will whip him into shape on Saturday night!! Happy (early) Halloween everyone. Whhooooooooooooo!

Of all the themed shows I am always looking forward to the Halloween show the most. I love the atmosphere and the music, the costumes and proppage ( is that a real word?). Some seriously creative minds behind all that.

Really looking forward to a few of the dances, Lisa and Robin should be great, I just love the fun they seem to be having. Dani and Vincent are great as well. In a strange way I am looking forward most to Michael and Natalie though, for some strange reason they are my favourites.

Wishing all the dancers ( and the SCD band) a spooktastic show tomorrow!

I'm sorry but I'm just not a fan of these theme weeks!! I feel that sometimes the theme actually overpowers the technicality of the dance they are supposed to be performing (for instance last week quite a few of the routines didn't have enough content). How about this for an idea... just do a straight forward routine with NO gimmicks, NO theme and NO props!!!! That way we get to see an actual dance!!!! Haven't heard of most the music choices this week either!!!!

Looking forward to tonight's Strictly especially Team VanJam and Team Smurf's performances. It will be the battle of the tango's and not sure who is going to come out on top there - possibly Team KiwiGB.
Let's hope it's full of high quality dancing and not too many props.

Chris Rhydderch i have to agree with you about the theme weeks. Sid's and Fern's performances last week are prime examples, whilst both performed the characters very well the actual dance was lacking.

O Fortuna by Rhydian? More like Carl Orff!!

Brilliant timing for Colin & Kristina's use of Superstition by Stevie Wonder. The Talking Book Album this is on came out 40 years ago on 28th October 1972.
