Just been studying the training video in depth. Looking very good considering it's only week 2. The standard seems to get better every year. Not sure about Louis and Flavia's song though. A strange choice. I'm sure the sky will fall on my head and I will be damned forever for this but I find Adele's songs horribly depressing so I'm not wild about Pasha's and Kimberley's music either.

Loving the music by Victoria & Brendan. And a fascinating insight into the couples working so hard. Should be really good. Can't wait for Saturday. :) And how good to see Lisa dancing her heart out and doing so well and being taken seriously by Robin and not going down the "I can't dance so let's make this funny" route. She *can* dance and has surprised me a great deal by how well she can! :) Rooting for Sid and Johnny too!

    Great to see the training:

Good to see Artem and Fern working so well together,
Flavia and Louis really do make a charasmatic team such an exciting couple
Victoria seems so much more relaxed - she just has to believe in herself & improvements will happen
Johnny working hard for their next dance before the return of Aliona
Jerry I believe really does want Anton to teach her the foxtrot
Love watching Danni and Vincent they are working hard and have so improved
My favourites are Kimberley and Pasha they have amazing chemistry together
James and Denise rehearsals seem packed with great competition between each other!
Ola is definitely working Sid so hard and it's definitely beginning to pay off!
Despite their height difference Colin and Kristina make a fabulously sexy team to watch
Karen and Nicky are working well especially in the latin
Michael is finding it tough but Natalie's is a great teacher and already he's improving in hips
Lisa is now very confident in herself and she and Robin are the ones to beat!

Some interesting song choices here!! The training footage is looking good as well, I just hope the pro dancers haven't given the celebs too much to remember considering it's the first time they've had to learn and perfect a routine in just 4 days before they get to studio rehearsals??!!!! I guess we'll find out on Saturday night!! Am still liking Lisa and Robin, there's just something special about the two of them when they dance and they have such great chemistry on the dancefloor!! She looks very graceful so I have every confidence that she'll pull off her Waltz on Saturday night!! Denise and James's Jive is VERY fast as well, so I just hope she can nail the choreography by Saturday because if she misses just 1 step it will throw her completely!! It's not so bad if you're doing a slower routine as you can just pause and get back into it, but when it's something very fast (like the Jive) it's harder to get back into it if you miss a step!! Am hopeful she'll be alright though!! Bring on Saturday night!!!! Keep Dancing!!!!

    Hi all,

2nd week another great weekend of Strictly to look forward and I'm currently Ipadless at the moment and will have to use the main computer to type my comments which might not be a bad thing less spekking and grammar errors.

Now the music choices some good some classy and some cheesier than Rylan Clark's camp productions on X Factor.

And also why does Anton and Jerry and Johnny and Iveta get all the great music choices and the rest have to settle for whatever's left it's like he's getting smoked salmon and the rest have to make do with pie and chips all round which simply means he gets Sinatra and Johnny and Iveta get a Micheal Buble track.

Though I do have concerns for them though but my top 5 couples for this week are.

    Fern and Artem
Lisa and Robin( she opened her Strictly account with a bang will it be prizewinning this week I think so)
    Denise and James
    Colin and Kristina
Sid and Ola(Loved him last week can he bring his body and hips to the party this week)
Victoria and Brendan(Hopefully she will bounce back from last week I think she will)
    Dani and Vincent
    Pasha and Kimberley

I'm basing these on their music choices and they have some pretty good choices modern and contempory and will play to their strengths.

Johnny and Iveta and Anton and Jerry as I said they get Buble and Sinatra music tracks and yet they don't make use of them I mean these two are classy stylish music tracks they bring you back to the classy swing era Micheal Buble is modern jazz but goes along the same lines because these tracks require the couple to keep in tune and time to the music and Jerry and Anton well she'll just be looking sexy and posing Mr Du Beke will be holding her up while Johnny will be trying to attenpt to show he's dancing Iveta will be propping him up.

Now my thoughts on my bottom three if the above don't go through to the dance off on the public vote are.

Micheal and Natalie This Ole House I mean totally cheesy will be either a joy to watch or you will be watching with gritted teeth wanting it to end.

Louis and Flavia Puppy Love sorry wrong track for Louis I'm afraid because I associate Louis with strong contempory music tracks by his image as an Olympian this track doesn't ring with me.

And for the most cringeworthy of all Richard and Erin Love Shack the pictures I have in my mind about this track Richard trying to bust some moves and looking more like an embarassing Uncle at a wedding.

I would definitley put these three in my bottom three based on music choices.

    Hi all,

So in summary listened to Everything by Micheal Buble and then again could suit Johnny it's not a swing number you don't have to think 2 seconds in trumpet section step step move step 2 seconds in piano kind of like that got a right balance for Johnny might like it or totally hate it.

Anton and Jerry not convinced Sinatra sexy cool swing music with an extra bite well we have the sex element and the bite in Jerry but Anton still has to warm to her yet and no newspaper reports or articles about them on Digital Spy so I would say it's nice and relaxed there will it translate on the dance floor.

Nicky and Karen the song Dynamite and Nicky will have to be firing on all eight cylinders after his poor start and poor slating from the judges and that was just Karen's rule breaking.

Yes Adele songs can be depressing but for me it will suit Kimberley and Pasha and they will make the dance their own they are the one's to watch for me.

So the three couples for bottom three this week hacve to be the couples with the really cheesy songs I mean the music choice has to be the hero of the dance and without it it just falls totally flat.

Micheal and Natalie dancing to This Old House just pure cheese I could be wrong though so the jury is out on that though so take them out of the equation I might actually warm to it.

My bottom two for the dance off on Sunday would have to be based on the song choices Louis and Flavia dancing to Puppy Love and Richard and Erin dancing to Love Shack Puppy Love I wouldn't pick for a music choice ever for Louis because Louis suits more modern up to date music choice and I have a bad feeling about this one but Richard and Love Shack this says it for me no way, no way, absoloutley no way if he wanted to music choice to send him home this is it.

    Well that's it for me
    Goodnight all

Looking forward to seeing Lisa and Robin after last weekend. I LOVE the song 'Never tear us Apart' by Paloma Faith, and also INXS's original version of the song. Other song choices are mixed, with the good 'Kiss from a Rose' by Seal and 'Hips don't Lie' by Shakira, and the bad 'This ole House' by Shakin Stevens and 'Puppy Love' by Donny Osmond (puke). Still no 'Sexy and I know it' by LM**O! And where does it actually say what DANCE the pairs are going to do?

There is some great music amongst the teams choices but especially interesting will be Sid & Ola: dancing to “Hips Don’t Lie” by Shakira - I wonder if Sid's hips will be lying or not!!!

Watching the rehearsal footage I was impressed with Fern and Artem although up to now I haven't been but looks now as if they are working hard and pulling out all the stops - looks as if Artem is choreographing to her Fern's strengths and I'm looking for a big improvement this week. I was also impressed with Colin and Kristina I think they could really wow us next time. I'm sure the scores will increase greatly on the first two shows. I'm surprised at the music choice for Flavia and Louis which I don't feel is right for them at all - but we shall see!
