It might be cold and wet outside, but the temperature’s rising here in the Strictly Ballroom because it’s Love Week! We’ve been nosing around backstage at Friday rehearsal to find out all the hot gossip and smooth talk ahead of Saturday’s live show.

With a week of tough rehearsals behind them, can our celebs channel their passionate, romantic and dare we say sexy side and knock our judges for six or will their dance date end in rejection?

We caught up with our amorous couples to find out if they’ve caught the Love Bug, so if you want to find out what strange dreams Sophie has been having, what James and Ola danced to at their wedding, and which ROCK behemoth has been showing his love to Hairy Dave, then watch the video below.

Ooh, Ashley, hope you are joking about a mouthful of vaseline.... you'll be sick! I would recommend a trip to a health food shop for a tub of 'Coconoil' (£8 ish)... will do the job and it is EDIBLE :)) but don't leave the tub anywhere too warm as it will liquify.

or, you might just have been joking (which I suspect you were), in which case... I was never here......

Whose brilliant idea to have Nancy Dellolio on It Takes Two? She admitted she hadn't watched SDC so far and she clearly had no idea who was on it! 'Who would you like to see at the top of the leader board tomorrow Nancy?' 'Er I'll decide tomorrow'. Hilarious. Talk about scraping the barrel!!

    Hi all.

Friday night I'm feeling the love and as stated last night the battle of the Waltz's and Rumba's for me this week if we combine them.

Susannah and Kevin Fiona and Anton in all honesty expecting great things but as said I am a bit worried for Fiona and Anton two dances and nerves have got the better of Fiona starts off well goes pear shaped after that but they are my favourite couple and I think they will be okay.

Ben and Kristina and Natalie and Artem doing the Rumba I know he's married but he will have to put his heart and soul into this routine but for me Artem will give it all in sex appeal for this routine and with Natalie the steam will be full flowing but in all honesty rumba is like ballet I find it boring I prefer my dances with more oomph a bit more power.

And one of my favourites will have to be Dave and Karen's Paso to I'll Do Anything For Love I mean this guy was born to be tough guy rocker in a jokey sort of way but if he is playing it for entertainment a definite 10 from me.

Mark and Iveta the same for me these two couples are the feel good factor of the show.

Patrick and Anya looking forward to this foxtrot because Patrick needs to prove he is a contender right now and I think this routine will prove his metal on the dance-floor.

Deborah and Robin but of a worry for me the song they have is a really fast one and both will need to be on the ball from the get go they nail it, it will be good if not they could be in trouble.

I am standing by what I said about Vanessa and James and Julien and Janette Julien was in the bottom two last week I suspect this routine could send him their again together with Vanessa and James the dance is okay but the music choice to light for a tango the music choice needs more punch.

Abbey and Aljaz and Rachel and Pasha was a bit disappointed they had two great song choices last week just didn't have the party sprit for me they need to step it up this week.

Ashley and Ola he has Ola they have a samba three words sex it up.

Oh and I know we all say about Bruce, the autocue, the rubbish jokes his cues but in all honesty ladies and gentlemen I have had the worst week of my entire life and a bit of Brucie in all honesty will be a Brucie bonus for me this weekend.

I was just reading the comments poppy@2 Nancy Del'lolio they must have been scraping the bottom of the barrel on It Takes Two.

I didn't know she was in the country after last year I thought they deported or she left for tax reasons.

Sorry about my sense of humour but trying to get back in the groove after the week I've had.

Just popped in for a quick opinion.

I'm in agreement with Gareth @ 10 - I don't want anyone to go, but from rehearsal footage I think Vanessa and Julien are in danger of being in the bottom 2. Dave's very popular so he'll get the public vote whatever happens.

I have great hopes for Sophie and Natalie. Sophie's got really quick feet and Natalie appears to have found her rhumba hips; they are my 1 and 2.

    Can't wait for this evening

I agree with Poppy, why have Nancy Dellolio on the show, she is my interested in the programme, only herself; and then to top it all For said she loves her or something like that

I still can't believe they had her on ITT last night would have thought she'd have at least tried to feign some interest - but alas! Also thought her very scathing of Anton :O there again as Foxtrotgill says she's only interested in herself! Still, thought she might have actually watched something of the show (seeing as they are on Iplayer) before coming on - but maybe I'm giving her a little too much credit!

Matt Goss came across well on It Takes Two last night, but Nancy Dellolio? Clearly doesn't know what she's talking about and resorted to snide remarks. Lionel Blair is too old, evident by a couple of "senior moments"!

I watched Strictly last week, mainly because Bruce Forsyth was not there !!!

    I throughly enjoyed it !

Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly are the perfect double act, why can't the BBC see that Bruce Forsyth is past it.

He is totally useless, he is hopeless with the autocue and can't remeber which celebrity is who !!

It is about time he was put out to grass, he needs to realise that he is not indispencible !!!

Team Tess and Claudia team is brilliant, Claudia's sense of humour makes the programme fun and more interesting.

Fiona and Anton are looking good so far. Isn't that far away from 7th place in terms of average score. Fiona has 23.0 in 10th place and in 7th is Deborah with 24.0. I feel a good dance from Fiona and she could put herself well up in the top half of the mid-table.

But staying with the average scores Abbey, Sophie and Natalie seemingly are miles ahead of the rest with 31.0, 32.0 and 32.5 respectively. Sussana in 4th has 29.5. So whilst I think it is not impossible for Sussana to close the gap the class already clearly is Natalie, Sophie and Abbey.

Turning out to be one heck of a series!
