I'm doing the 5 live show from the USA this week and will therefore miss special guest David Tennant in the studio. He's an actor who makes me feel star struck, who would have that effect on you?

I feel star strucked by loads of people. Maybe Tom Hardy from the Warrior and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy I was completely impressed by his perfomances in these films and I look forward to his upcoming perfomance in The Dark Knight Rises as Bane I was also exceddingly impressed by Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight

Undoubtedly, the mesmerising Imelda Staunton. I think she is a remarkable actress. So much so, that I am in the process of writing a 3000 word essay on her acting ability and methods for my film degree. Having studied her so thoroughly and watched her over and over again in Vera Drake and Another Year, I would struggle to compose myself in her presence!

Martin Scorsese would have that effect on me, which would not be a bad thing because being star struck can lead to being dumb struck and thus silent. Would have to have questions pre- written definately.

It's funny you should feel star struck by David Tennant, who is predominantly better known for television roles (Dr Who, Blackpool) and theatre work. You must be alluding to Mr. Tennant's magnetic personality and talent, rather than him being extraordinarily uber-famous.

Mark, I know you rarely get awe struck by actors, but you sat alongside Gary Oldman six months ago, and chatted with him!

    What did that feel like?

Sure I would be excited about meeting many stars but there are a select few that would be completely speechless over. Tilda Swinton, Viggo Mortensen, Gena Rowlands or the man himself Steve Blum are the first people I thought of.
