I'd like to point out that Tom's badge says "Ass Man" on it. Hal's Idea of a joke?

Natasha could also be pretending not to see Alex...like Fergus did with Annie in front of the social worker...

Maybe Hal turns Natasha (the new girl), which pits her against Tom...much to Hatch's delight...
He needs there to be huge conflict between Hal and Tom, and to get Alex out of the way.
The real question is, who is returning from Series 4?
Allison's been mentioned...or maybe Regus and Michaela.
I also had a feeling Milo would be back...we have no idea what happened to him after that explosion!

Alex may have proved that the new girl has a lot of experience at ignoring ghosts. Hmmm. As for Hal, he traded his soul to the devil in exchange for immortality. If he managed to get his soul back at this point, wouldn't he just turn to dust from old age? Hmmm. Maybe the new girl is a relative of somebody that Hal killed and is looking to hurt him personally, so that he kills her to defend himself. Hmmm. Wouldn't it be lovely if Tom could be the hero instead of the sidekick? Hmmm. My head really hurts. Too much speculating!

The problem with the supernatural theory is that Alex pretty much proved that the waitress couldn't see her, didn't she?
Going to bang my head on the desk for a while.
The problem with the talented writers on Being Human is that thery're also exceedingly devious. Talented and devious just about covers it.
Roll on tonights on-line content, my nerves could do with a break.

At the beginning, we see Hal, Tom and Alex talk about Hal's plans for a 'sauna' in the basement. When Tom points out that this is nonsense, the discussion turns to Tom's plans for a 'swimming pool' in the back garden, which was his code for building a bomb. Hal then confirms that he's building a bomb, a Cram shaped bomb as it turns out, or Crumb as he came to prefer. A device which has imploded with drastic consequences for not only Hal, but for everyone at HH. Could the chaos created by Crumb be one of the reasons Lord Hal is getting stronger?
If the new waitress isn't a vampire or werewolf, then what is she? As Little Blue Star and Leannloveschocolate have pointed out, no one knew Yvonne was a succubus. As a demon, it took a long time for Hal to figure out what she was and so far, Capt Hatch has escaped detection. We can only hope Alex is onto him.
So, Tom's feelings attract him to the waitress, but what brings her to the attention of Lord Hal/Hal? Is she an, as yet, unknown supernatural? What does she have to offer an increasingly desperate Hal? Apart from the obvious!

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Phil Davies yet (apologies if I've missed something). Playing the......or a.....devil is a pretty tall order, and I've got to say I think he does it spectacularly. No surprise, maybe.....but still worth a mention.
