The Annie Broadcasts saw Lenora Crichlow's character in some of her darkest, most isolated moments ever. It was tough to see such a loveable character in such a perilous position and, well, *insert freak-out about Annie going to hell here*. You know what we mean.

Today Lenora gives us her unique perspective on the story, telling us what it was like to push Annie to the brink of insanity.

**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT** If you want to see the brand new, extra-long Being Human series three trailer make sure you're watching BBC One at 10:30pm on Sunday 2nd January where it will be screened for the very first time.

Once you've had your face blown off by that, get back here on the blog to see all the behind the scenes action from the day in our exclusive online video. Plus you'll also be able to watch the trailer again. And again. And again. Andagainandagainandagainandagain.

Oh yes, it's going to be a very special January indeed...

Lots of lovely stuff to come back to! Thank you BH Prod -

Hope all BH folks had a great Xmas

Ive rushed through it all now need to go back and rewatch.... do we have a date yet?

  • Comment number 2.

Oh my god! You sneaky BHP - was not expecting this! Lenora is being her brilliant comedy self as usual :)
2nd of Jan you say....?? LOVE IT

Hope everybody had an amazing Christmas and have more fun planned for the New Year.

  • Comment number 3.

Wish I could see this here in the U.S.
    *waits patiently*
Series 3 is gonna be so good!
    Cant wait.

  • Comment number 4.

Well step out for just a few moments and A New Blog rather an excellent one putting us in the mind of Lenora for those harrowing scenes and we find out the most important thing is.......... Face time? as well as letting the scene take you as Annie loses her mind - probably the close second important thing.

Now with Just over 5 days round about till a trailer this is truly an wonderful thing.

For those that want to know it means watching the end of Enchanted. But then Trailer, trailer, trailer, trailer.

  • Comment number 5.

Looking forward to when you have a chance to put it on Facebook or YouTube. (Not a criticism by any means -- it's brilliant that you've made the extra effort so we overseas fans can get our fix!)

I think we all feel just a teeny bit like Annie right now, pressed up against the fence, anxious for what comes next! :-)

  • Comment number 6.

Yea! A surprise blog! :D I can't wait to see it! I just bought an ipad and it is shipping, I was wondering if anyone knows if the ipad thing really works to let me watch videos that are by bbc iplayer?

  • Comment number 7.

wait have to correct a statement in (4) the trailer is on after Zen I am now setting my TV to turn on at that time.

125 and a half hours from now

  • Comment number 8.

awh gotta love Lenora ... facetime!!!

im gonna wind up everyone now and say we have to wait until NEXT YEAR for the full trailer!!!! how scary does that sound??

Hope everyone had a Christmas and wishing you a good new year!!!

  • Comment number 9.

Does everybody follow Being Human on Facebook? Why are they asking which city has the most fans? Could a last minute venue for a screening be being saught...? I'm looking mainly at you Ewan!!!
I hope so, or it could just be a massive tease that BHP are ever so good at!!

  • Comment number 10.

Woop! A fab new blog! Excellent. Hope you all had a wondeful festive break. I really did enjoy the Annie Broadcasts.

Ah I saw that Laurar and never so that! Oh the conspiracy haha!

  • Comment number 11.

*never thought of that haha. That sentence made blog all sense.

  • Comment number 12.

9 - Last minute screening by the pricking of my ears I'll have to check now. Where ever it is I must have tickets this time.

Also with what expression are you looking at me?

  • Comment number 13.

12 - hehe, I like the 'must have tickets' bit.

  • Comment number 14.

well fingers crossed that there is a screening first.

  • Comment number 15.

Ewan, I'm looking at you with a face full of joy and expectation you loon!!! Thats sounded a lot more creepy than I intended it to - sorry.

But yes, why are they asking this question?

  • Comment number 16.

Facebook says Manchester. If this is a screening venue, I am a very happy egg as I have beds and sofas I can snooze on all over the city. Yesssssssss! But probably not, its fun to get excited anyway.

  • Comment number 17.

    I prefer the term 'Lune'

Didn't think there was any other look

We can only hope they ask in order for us to find out where to buy train tickets for for one night of unbridled joy

  • Comment number 18.

I've distant relatives there but problem is a little too distant so a train back.

Excitment is always good. and with being human in the offing there is little else to get.

  • Comment number 19.

Just a thought but the winner would have pleased Seth if it wasn't for the big stake in his chest.

  • Comment number 20.

So Manchester then. Has to mean something surely lol!

  • Comment number 21.

Seriously though, what does it mean???
I hate thinking I know the crack when I obviously dont!

  • Comment number 22.

crack? is there something your not telling us?

  • Comment number 23.

Oh this is a depressing thought the re-imagining is getting a screening - admittedly a live screening - as it's broadcast live but still BBC three if there is any chance Manchester is not that far away for me or others.

  • Comment number 24.

Crack is like the news or gossip type thing - crack is craic where I come from, although craic is a Celtic word I think. There aren't many Celts where I am from, just a mixture of random Northerners.

Anyway... I dont think this Manchester crack is about the syfy version. Surely they wouldnt add insult to injury by not giving us a screening of the real deal, not letting us know the air date, and then making a hoo-ha over the U.S version?? I would weep knives if that happened.

Nothing is probably going to happen :( just over reaching at Christmas time...

  • Comment number 25.

Always good to learn new words.

Now they get a screening in America for the American version,

So a British screening in Britain, if only I could do puppy dog eyes.

  • Comment number 26.

lol at Ewan & LR, both a couple of "lunes" but funny. I never thought there might be an ulterior motive to the question on Facebook, LR. Hmm, I wonder....

Annie broadcasts have been an interesting peek into what Annie has been going through. Nice to see what Lenora has to say about them. Surely there would be no way of telling night & day in purgatory, regardless of whether she was in a kind of solitary confinement...? Would be so easy to "loose yourself". Poor Annie.

Hope I will be able to watch the trailier! Looking forward to it :) :) :)

  • Comment number 27.

This blog was a nice surprise! Thanks BHProd! :)

    I CAN'T WAIT for the full trailer! :D :D :D

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas!

  • Comment number 28.

    Thankyou! A very pleasant surprise.

Not long to wait until the full trailer...although it isn't until next year!! haha.

  • Comment number 29.

I love Being Human, have just re-watched the DVDs and am really looking forward to Series 3.

But please BBC, can Australia have access to Annie's new video diary? It's so frustrating to know her diary is there about her wait and the verdict, but I can't see it because I live 'Down Under'.

We have to wait longer to see new series in Aus... I get that... but please don't restrict blog content from your overseas fans - especially when you're trying to build the blog presence of BH.

  • Comment number 30.

5 days from now the full trailer on BBC ONE (not three)

  • Comment number 31.

"Hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say!"

No.29, BBC3 keeps forgetting that UK / America / Australia / Canada are the markets for this show and they only have blog videos for the "home team" (UK).

If you are lucky the BBC put things on YouTube later but then not always in the same time-frame...so the UK people are already ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to discussion group topics...and we do feel left out BBC!

Ewan should be on the BBC3 payroll because he keeps finding the YouTube links for me...xxx

    Happy Nude Year,

    Tom in Oz

  • Comment number 32.

Cannot wait to see the full trailer - Happy New Year indeed! Shouldn't stuff be coming out in magazines regarding series 3 now? I need to see hot photoshoots and interviews please. Anybody know when we should expect such things?

  • Comment number 33.

32 - SFX has a load of spoilers and I will be checking other mags to see if they have any thing but until then SFX until the new issue where there might be more

  • Comment number 34.

Yeah I have that one ewan... I was thinking more along the lines of the bed photoshoot from last series...

  • Comment number 35.

No idea if there will be another bed shoot this time, not as likely as that was then and it's already been done. lack of originality in the press is the best you can hope for.

  • Comment number 36.

I know there wont be a bed shoot, hence me wanting it to be "along those lines". Hmmmnn, shower scenes, sun bathing, playing golf??
Actually sunbathing would be pretty cool, especially for Mitchell pics... mmmm aftersun

  • Comment number 37.

30 ewan the new trailer is on bbc 1? i thought it was 3
and can i ask is anyone elses family/friends/whoever you talk to about such things getting fed up with constant being human quotes and suchlike?

  • Comment number 38.

36 - Some fans have one track minds

37 - No it is on after Zen a new detective show as for the quotes - Fed up can be such a bourgeois concept

  • Comment number 39.

    is that one 1 then?
i have been forbidden from mentioning being human by certain crazy people who don't watch it...

  • Comment number 40.

it was a paraphrase from Gilbert

run that by me again they don't watch being human? don't get it.

  • Comment number 41.

no one i know watches it i feel so alone sometimes i'm surrounded by insanity why are these people my friends?

  • Comment number 42.

You could do what I did with my entire immediate family emotionally blackmail them through pestering to watch it. 100% success by the way.

  • Comment number 43.

hmmm i shall have to try that. Thank you very much

  • Comment number 44.

    'Good luck with that'

  • Comment number 45.

4 days from now trailer on BBC ONE for season 3

  • Comment number 46.

    EEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKK!

  • Comment number 47.

Annie, im with you, non of my friends watch being human, some of them have forbiden me from mentioning it, others look at my blankly when I say something about it. I am slowly working to get by friends to watch being human by showing them the non scary trailers. I still havn't been able to watch this blog video, if someone could tell me where it is on youtube? Also does anyone know if the USA will have to wait for the summer to see series 3 or if like Doctor Who, it will either run on time or be a week behind on BBC America?

  • Comment number 48.

A belated very happy Christmas everyone!

inkblurboy, the good soul, has put up the new blog (like all the annie broadcasts before) :-)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wbJJK1Tkk8

As for screening in Manchester I love the idea. But I'm not UK based and it's prob not at the weekend, so I can't take time off to rush over and ask some of you lovely lot to put me up on their sofa... :)

  • Comment number 49.

47 i know! it is so annoying if it wasn't for the blog i would have no one to talk to about being human i have shown my friends the trailers but they just say being human is ... i can't say the same words in the same sentence. I need new friends

  • Comment number 50.

    (48) Buzzbrain thanks for putting up the link.

    Lenora another wonderful video :)!

Annie & 79sars79 maybe you could try to have your friends watch Being Human with you, once they see an episode I'm sure they won't be able to stop watching.

  • Comment number 51.

wendy the good witch that has not worked they just don't have something wired up right in their minds i really don't understand what else it could be

  • Comment number 52.

Annie lol I'm sure your right something must be wrong with them.

  • Comment number 53.

In three days from now all UK residents do your duty tune onto BBC One for 5 minutes to enjoy the trailer.

Small question will the advert be broadcast on BBC HD as well? or just BBC One.

  • Comment number 54.

Hello all! Hope you all had a brilliant Christmas.

Lovely to hear from Lenora on doing the Annie broadcasts. I can imagine it took quite a lot out of her having to dredge all those differing emotions up at the same time. Well done, Lenora! Looking forward to seeing more great acting in S3. Anyone who says acting is easy, well...draw your own conclusions.

And well done Barry and the BH Prod team for keeping us all sitting on the edge of our seats with some great videos and blogs over the last 12 months. We've loved every minute, trust me.

Now, 10.30 on Sunday 2nd January 2011, you say?...hmmm, that's an opportunity none of us can ignore. We'll be there!

A very happy health and prosperous New Year to bloggers, Being Human production team, cast and crew. Thanks for all your hard work and determination to keep us informed, entertained and generally insatiable!xxx

  • Comment number 55.

Happy New Year to BH Prod, Lord Toby, Producers, the jaw-dropping cast and all the crew - 2011 will be the best yet.

And a best BH New Year to all bloggers

  • Comment number 56.

    two days to go!!

  • Comment number 57.

So close to the full trailer!!!

  • Comment number 58.

    i'm too excited for words
I wonder when they're gonna tell when the actual series starts...?

  • Comment number 59.

Have to be somewhere now so Happy new Year to cast and crew, fellow blogers and those Just reading who haven't joined in yet

  • Comment number 60.

happy new year fellow bloggers!! and one day to go!!

  • Comment number 61.

    Happy New Year BH Bloggers!

Ewan and others seem to be getting excited about something... tell me Ewan, how long to go now?!

I am feeling rough, ready for an afternoon nap following 2 hours of wakefulness. But onwards! Up until 3am writing essay this morning and still got 2200words to go so must get on with it... Man I am so rock!

Seriously, maybe just another two hours sleep? No? Essay? Ugh! Alright I'm doing it... maybe a few bouts of minesweeper first...

oops, just failed the profanity filter... onwards and upwards! hehee!

  • Comment number 62.

Happy New Year all BH fans, cast and crew :)

I really need to take some action to re-stoke my BH addiction, gone cold turkey too long and its starting to work. Time to break out the DVDs for a marathon rewatch I think; tried to watch the re-runs on BBC3 but they were on soooooo late it just didn't happen.

I hate to ask but do we have an air date for S3 yet? if its Jan it must be so close it has got to be fixed by now surely.....if we all ask nicely please can we have details.

  • Comment number 63.

Happy New Year fellow bloggers & BHProd, we've finally made it to January *taps toe anxiously* Not UK-based, can't see the trailer, so pleeze report back!

  • Comment number 64.

    Happy New Year moonwalker58!

If it weren't for the blog I too would be at your dangerous state. Currently I am doing a line on Elizabethan artwork instead (shoot me please) and my current "treat" for accomplishing writing/reading targets are episodes of Merlin (I suspect Arthur may have surpassed Mitchell).

No date for S3 yet, as far as I am aware. Ewan is getting very excited just about a trailer being shown tomorrow night. It may just be that the trailer may coincide with an announcement about when the series will restart, but it will be in January. Which is now. I think the BBC have probably fixed their dates, they're just holding us in suspense. I am going to be mean and say I don't want it until the final week of January when my last essay is due in, but I think Ewan might just burst if he has to wait that long.

We'll all be a lot clearer soon, I am sure, but Ewan knows far more than me and I defer to his great wisdom on these matters.

For anyone who cares: 1200words to go. It's dull and irrelevent but it occupies most of my head. I want it finished. It's tormented me for 3 months of procrastination... think supportive thoughts friends!!!

  • Comment number 65.

One Day from now people all over the country will be tuning in to catch the credits to a new police drama on BBC One called Zen why you may ask to find out the cast? No because in one day as promised A full Trailer for being human season three is shown.

By the way WR not about to explode Just eager to see the trailer there is a difference in levels.

Shortly after the trailer Youtube for non residents.

  • Comment number 66.

Why do I read World Rugby instead of Warwickshire Rose when I see WR?

    Tis a strange quirk...

Ewan exploding would be a strange and disasterous turn of events. My dad has buried spontaneous human combustion people before (or rather one of their feet, nothing else was left), but nobody who self-exploded. I rather see you as an excited child counting down the days to their birthday; bursting with excitement. One more sleep!

(I was of course at that point suggesting that the series doesn't start until c.28/01/11 at that point when I pictured your excitement at bursting point, as it would be excruciating to wait for.) Sorry if you felt I was picking on you but I love your excitement levels and, quite frankly, you are the god of the blog - the superfan - you know I repeatedly bow down to you in my humble wisdom.

  • Comment number 67.

An excited child that is a strange way to bee seen I only put the countdown on the blog to remind people that we have something to look forwards to.

As for God no there are others who have done more Eagleeyes who has put out some rather wonderful videos if you check youtube I've only put out one.

There are also those who have been here since the beginning I only appeared a bit over a year ago.

I just know a lot about being human that is all.

  • Comment number 68.

I only got internet 4 months ago. I haven't really fathomed youtube. I have got a vague understanding of BH Blog. It's where the videos and friendly fans are. I always look forward, but I don't always countdown. Duration is not as important as content. You do know a lot. I don't actually believe in Gods. I just like you. =)

  • Comment number 69.

It's good to be liked, and it's not like I believe in any monotheistic or multi god system either I was lucky enough to be raised without God.

the 'knowledge' I have comes more from my love of variant myths based in religions and of course well written TV shows.

the content can vary from theories to talks we've had many times before (one day I may do a vid put it on youtube explaining the isolation room door) It all deepens on how much information there is to mull over, discuss or how many people are on the blog.

Just you wait for the series to start again it takes a long time to read and you have to keep referencing who your talking to on the blog.

  • Comment number 70.

hehee! I always view myself as lucky to be raised *with* God. I feel like I've made an informed decision!
I am sure the blog will be barking with hubbub and discussion once the show is back on. I am fascinated as to whether I will get involved. My instinct is to block it out and enjoy what Toby and the team has prepared for us without questioning too much. I seem to recall that back when I was a kid I got too involved with blog-scenes and forums for other shows and it ruined them for me. The old shows I still love today are the ones I just allowed to be played out in front of me. I do like the behind-the-scenes stuff though. Those are the discussions I will be around.

  • Comment number 71.

Sometimes it hurts sometimes it helps - some fans have the misfortune not to be around people who love this show, so need an outlet or have friends on the blog they like to stay in contact with. Sometimes the reading different theories will tell you too much of the plot line other times it will make the anticipation better.

All in all when we get a date and when that date comes then you can make your choice, but be warned it it addictive.

  • Comment number 72.

I don't have any friends who have even heard of Being Human. I am alone. I work with people who see Harry Potter as worshipping false gods, so I don't think they'd appreciate a ghost, werewolves and vampires. They worry that I am hellbound. Well, Annie's there! Can't be that bad, can it now?! Mitchell will go there. Oh yes. Eternity with Mitchell, George and Annie... dream come true! But they don't exist, and neither does hell! It will all be alright in the end...

  • Comment number 73.

Ah that is a scary thought the not suffer a witch to live philosophy that I do find more scary than the idea of vampires werewolves or ghosts. There is a documentary called 'Jesus camp' that shows just how scary. It must have taken a lot of courage to tell them that you don't believe so I wish you luck in dealing with that.

So you'll be on the blog for a while yet.

  • Comment number 74.

Ha! They may be evangelical, and extremists can be far more terrifying than Mitchell on public transport, but my lot are good deep down! =) I like playing the devil's advocate! By being there I am showing them another way, I can show them all the Christian love in an atheist manner, blur lines, confuse issues, challenge them with different perspectives. They are my friends, and I see them grow through me, even though they easily annoy me by praying for me! I am not courageous. I am loving and hopefully a little bit joyous.
And yeh, I probably won't be going anywhere! I am peeing myself with the excitement of Mitchell going to hell to save Annie. Oh the potential...

  • Comment number 75.

The devils advocate is indeed one of the more fun roles to play,

Well it is kinda late and I've got to call it a night, See you on the blog, night.

  • Comment number 76.

    9 hours and 40 minutes

  • Comment number 77.

New news this is interesting the being human advert will be on facebook first - or the blog first but it will defiantly be on facebook in six hours from now that is six hours till advert is avalible.

also if you miss the advert in seven and a half hours on BBC One don't worry as a short 10 minutes later it'll be on BBC three at 10:40

    So the relative countdowns are

    six hours - facebook
seven and a half - BBC One
Seven hours forty minutes BBC Three

  • Comment number 78.

    Good day to you all!

I am assuming that the BH twitter feed will tweet the moment I can see it online so I am just waiting for that. Facebook terrifies me.

Not as much as spiders. Evil.

  • Comment number 79.

spiders are evil! it will be on facebook?!!
that has scuppered my plans for the evening so much for watching the nhl on espn i shall have to miss a bit of it while i come online

  • Comment number 80.

For those in the US or other places without BBC, the trailer will be on facebook at 9pm, but if they can hit 250,000 fans before then than they will release it as soon as they reach that number. So tell all your friends to go like the being human page!!!

  • Comment number 81.

question which one do you have to like?
the announcement or the hour old 4 hours to go or a new comment that is coming up?

  • Comment number 82.

or there is the like at the top of the page.

    -ahem

  • Comment number 83.

    OH!!!!!!!!
Im gonna have to watch the trailer! If not i will b so upset. Anyone have any idea if the date will b on the trailer for the first episode or will we just have to wait and see??
    Thanks

  • Comment number 84.

Its the like at the top of the page. And its 9:00pm england time, 4:00 my time!

  • Comment number 85.

one hour till face book is overused on one site causes an breakdown in world wide communication

    Trailer

  • Comment number 86.

Im confused. We can watch the trailer at 9pm on facebook right, but when do we get to see the new blog stuff? Do we wait until its been on tv at 10.30?

  • Comment number 87.

According to twitter and information it is as follows

    Facebook - trailer available at 9 O'clock

Television 10:30 BBC One 10:40 BBC Three

Blog Behind the scenes of trailer 10:30

Hope that helps fill you in

  • Comment number 88.

    Bonjour Laurar!

Twitter says behind the scenes stuff for trailer will be on the blog at 10.30pm.

BUT what I want to know is do I have to have a facebook account to view the facebook page? Because I really do not want a facebook account. People can phone and have meaningful chats with me if they want to know what I'm up to!

  • Comment number 89.

Ewan, we were blogging at same time, but I took so much longer to coordinate my brain... =)

  • Comment number 90.

weird that the times they are the same.

  • Comment number 91.

all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse...
they were all glued to facebook!

  • Comment number 92.

It's here there was a long time waiting for it to upload.
Too many people commenting and slowing it down was my personnel theory

    http://www.facebook.com/BBC.Being.Human?v=wall

    Thank you Being human production

  • Comment number 93.

  • Comment number 94.

    Thank you Ewan!

  • Comment number 95.

Back at 10:30 for new blog

  • Comment number 96.

No one cares but I would just like to state:

    I HAVE FINISHED MY ESSAY.

Tomorrow I start the next one... but tonight there is somerset brie.

  • Comment number 97.

warwickshire rose how do you cope?

  • Comment number 98.

How do I cope with a full time job, a masters, a life? Urm, well I am not entirely sure that I do. I haven't got to sleep before 4am for the last five days and my head aches with the exhaustion. I was seriously questioning my sanity when you blogged Annie, and I do not have an answer for you.

Every day I awake hoping that there are no humanitarian disasters because then my job will stop me from doing the other two!

  • Comment number 99.

    wow you are ridiculously busy
i would have lost my mind a long time ago

  • Comment number 100.

I'm not sure I had a mind to begin with - only a fool would take on what I have! Any stray marbles since then have been permanently lost! =)
