After months of writing, shooting and editing, the first three episodes of Being Human Series Two are nearly complete. We dragged Director Colin Teague out of the edit to tell us what to expect... and it sounds like it's going to be much darker.

AH I get it I get it "Lots of new characters some we've seen before" Ahem SETH - YES! But they havent had him survive have they looking at that room I guess it's one of the "back in time" bits one of the pre title sequences maybe??

Oh er..what is going on with our lovely Mitchell tied to that chair ?( you notice I'm not mentioning the fact that he appears to be half naked) Assuming that he gets out of this situation as this is in one of the first 3 episodes.
Not sure about Seth there eagle: that could have been anyone with his back to mitchell unless you're talking about another shot.
And was that Nina transformed in the wood?

First thought was yeah in your face doubters!! Sethys back. But then I thought that they might do Mitch flashbacks anyway that could involve Seth. Which could mean that he did still die. But somehow I never believed he did.

Ok...first up, read last few comments on previous blog and TY Vampfan, Brilliant, angie, Dorina, Anglo and anyone else I've not mentioned for kind comments...much appreciated.
As much as I enjoyed watching this I got very excited thinking it was the first part of the BH2 Trailer shown in Nottingham- clearly not.
Soooo... to this vid...great to see Colin looking relaxed and nice of him to say hello to the bloggers and we're sending you some love Colin. Wondering who directed the other episodes if Colin didn't and whether or not this has altered the 'feel' of the other episodes.
Noticed wolfy in woods..yeh Dorina...thinking that was Nina in new wolf form.
Our vampire tied up....and how naked i'm imagining...and did that gang of vampires capture him or is tis somethinng to do with the Prof?
Seth?...mmmmmm dunno...doesn't stand like him or have his sort of attitude but is the same build/haircut.
And why were all of our 4 heroes following annie carrying a tea tray?..she had a very amused look on her face...maybe it wasn't part of the show?
Oh and BHTeam....don't think I'm not appreciative of this vid and all the others ( i said very nice things about you all on a recent survey...!) but...any chance of getting to see that BH2 trailer which was shown in nottingham?
ok...need to cook now as Man and I are out at a big Salsa evening tonight and have to get ourselves organised and fed. Will be back later with some news of The Clinic

Food cooking so back now with news for those who have been following The Clinic. I can now see RTEplayer again -through work and temporarily at home although that could be permanent if I paid.
As some of you know, Joooos and I had been able to get the RTEPlayer but then got blocked ( found out why Joooos).
Can't explain here about it but anyone who is interested in finding out message me on YT..can't promise to answer this evening but will tomorrow. I'll also give some details of last 2 weeks storylines as well for those who are keen....with natch the main focus on our man.

Well, I'm sorry, but....Mitchell tied to a chair...can't imagine he was totally naked (we live in hope) but assume he was put there by baaad ass people/vampires and not just for our own particular appetites...hehe
Needless to say wasn't terribly focussed on Seth but was that guy just a bit too dark for Seth....unsure...thought Lenora was having a great time bringing in the tea tray and doing something a bit different for a change!
Was that Nina in the woods? It looked slightly more like a bear than a wolf but then I don't have my specs on lol and only saw it for a second or two.
What that a shot of new female (doctor?) character in hospital corridor talking to possibly our vampire? Couldn't quite see from the angle it was filmed at.
And Mr Teague...you HOPE we're going to enjoy it??? Of course we are...have you not had feedback from the blog that we are super-excited and are counting the days to January the whatever date it is....NO-ONE will miss that first episode if we can help it, but NO-ONE...and now we're even worse than before, because you've told us it's going to be an absolute corker of a beginning!

me again vampfan...suggest you unprotect your tweets...it's more of a pain receiving tweets/followers if you don't. If someone follows you and you're not happy ( they tend to be big companies) then you can block them easily. A few people follow you because they are interested in the chat re BH so I'm ok with them and can see by going into their profile page that they are individuals not heading up some sort of company. Sent you a tweet to say I'm following you but can't check it whilst you're protected.

Ok all The Clinic fans...lowdown on last 2 episodes regarding our man. Interesting storylines concerning secrets/doctors and HIV but will only mean anything to those who could see RTePlayer before ( like Joooos).
Anways..we last saw our boy after the death of his da avoiding spending all his time with his grieving mama ( she hasn't figured in the show since btw) and trying to spend as much time in Daisy's company as poss ( Business manager of The Clinic. They were beginning to get closer as he spent time with her painting a room in the clinic .
Next eps saw him helping to keep all the balls in tha air when a new minor injuries clinic is set up and peeps rushed off their feet...Daisy very impressed by his help and organisational skills ( at this point she appears to not have noticed his more obvious talents..she obviously needs specs.) This is the eps where he's wearing the waistcoat...moving on from cardigans I think..so last season! So this eps has him mainly rushing around in the clinic.
Next eps sees him giving more furtive glances towards Daisy....she appears to start to notice this and casts a few in his direction...Grace ( black doc) notices this going on and when Ruiari is in the club and says that he's concerned that Daisy is working late on her own Grace suggests that 'someone' goes round and checks on her..I love Grace!
So..he goes round and finds Daisy with Dan ( loverat doc nasty piece of work who also fancies Daisy) but Daisy thanks Dan for his help and indicates that she can now finish the rest..on her own. She tells Ruiari of her concerns re the clinic ( main storylines which I won't bore you with) and that she is worried she's not copying/clinic will go under etc. Cue Ruiari to move in ..closer..and tell her she's the best/a star/keeps everything going etc which of course leads to..a kiss. That's how I would describe it rather than a snog. At this point another doc comes in ( some of them live in flats in the clinic) so our lovebirds pull apart. She says goodnight to Ruiari.....the woman is clearly deranged!
Next day they look, and smile at each other ..a lot!
That's where we are..Lionesskeeper says next wks eps the last...I thought there were 10 but what do I know. I have taken some caps and sometime in a few weeks will produce Aidan in the Clinic 4....last one I'm afraid..I'm thinking built around romance of R & D.

Watching my son do a Buddy Holly song at a local talent show, early night, several DW eps and here I am.!! Brown: Aw thanks for that little update...I've seen a 15min vid Lioness produced recently showing the HIV storyline and Ruairi in his waistcoat...why does he look so good in everything?...so it's good to have feedback on the main storylines that involve Ruairi and a few other bits as well. Hello there....busy day..my Saturdays seem to be taken up with shopping, cleaning, paying bills etc leaving me only really Sundays but I guess that's the same with everyone.

RE Brown's Rossetti vid....I had the same problem with rating it...Its only showing a 4-star rating with me too but I think it's yt that's the problem.. week before last, all my ratings disappeared completely from the vids on my favourites and then reappeared last week and now they're dodgy again. Don't know what's happening but then I think that's yt for you!
Just watched a bit of Merlin while on phone...the actor who plays Merlin, Colin Morgan, has a corking English accent....and has a brilliant Northern Ireland accent (Derry I think) when he's on the 15-min "Merlin extra" bit that's on just afterwards and which I saw some weeks ago. I'd never heard of him until Merlin and was just really surprised when he spoke....his English accent is spot on, you'd never have guessed he was from anywhere else...fair play to you Colin...the more I watch it now the more it's taking on a slightly (only slightly, mind) darker tone now that the story is starting to unfold (I know it already)...keen to see if they stick to the story I know or have changed it greatly for their own reasons...

Am hoping I get sufficient Christmas money to buy a DVD and the BH DVD set so I can see S1 in all its glory as well as sorting out S2 to keep all to my self hehehe for those moments when there really isn't a lot else to do and the weather is dire....so that's January to about May sorted out then!

Ladies...re the ratings thing on YT. It works on an averaging system so all it takes on a few ratings is someone to give a low rating and it brings it right down. What I've noticed over the last few vids is that somone either accidently or otherwise is giving my vids a 1 rating which then reduces the overall rating. The whole rating thing on YT is a statistical nonsense ( trust me, I know something about stats) ...ie...a vid can get only one 5 rating and it shows as being rated as a 5...whereas another vid could get 100 ratings but with a few less than 5 and it would show as being rated as...less than 5 .
So...noone should take these seriously because they are meaningless.
Anyways...to more important things...just watched strictly and Man wants to watch Xfactor now (recorded)..I may have to clear up ...or watch a few more vids...or listen to Man laughing ....bye for now

Could Seth come back as a ghost and be haunting Mitchell? I'm a bit rusty with my vampire lore, now I'm not sure if this is exactly right, some beliefs are vampire's are soulless, and I think there's one belief that the soul is stuck inside goes crazy, and it develops some kind of bloodlust...Imagine being haunted by Seth.

Hmmm... well, you said that vampires are supposed to be soulless but if you cast your mind back to Episode 5 of BH, remember when Lauren died and what looked like her soul left her body and spiralled up into the air? I'm not sure they can be soulless entirely so perhaps there's something there for us to look into.
(80) The werewolf/daylight thing...I think they've filmed it in daylight but are probably going to make it look like it was night-time when we see it, or just before dawn or dusk or something...either way, there's going to have to be a full moon...wonder who it is? Sinead or someone else?
ATfan: Well, we think he might be naked....I did try and check out whether they showed any jeans from the waist down but they didn't do any of those shots (damn!)...somehow I can't see him being totally naked, maybe in jeans or shorts...but can you imagine if they did....this blog and Twitter would crash within minutes of the episode ending! hehe And he does get his "kit" off a couple of times, I gather...we'll be watching carefull of course.

Oh-Suzi: Some of us went to Mayhem thing in Nottingham just over a fortnight ago on Halloween...and yes, many of us met the cast, chatted, got hugged and photographed and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves...they were lovely and patient and incredibly good to us...I always feel slightly awkward in those situations because I don't want to make myself feel a nuisance because I know they're busy and they're still expected to do this promotional thing but it couldn't have been a nicer event. They've been thanked to within an inch of their lives and were gracious in acknowledging that we were the ones to be thanked which was lovely...
Living in Bristol, I've seen the make-up vehicles and others around the place and am convinced I saw Aidan once (long story!) but I've never actually seen them filming although some folk have.
And, er, the Aidan pick n flick...initially because they'd been scoffing chocolate and sweets I just thought he'd got chocolate on his face and flicked it off....then someone else said probably not! Not a terribly wholesome picture but I think what you see is what you get with him lol

Toe thing - ouch - and you've been child-sitting or chasing in your case... I did that a bit yesterday, my charges were 7 year olds and eccentric to say the least...good fun but like you say, exhausting!
Know what you mean about the jeans/whatever he was wearing below the waist (why do I think so much about this?)...we only have around 7 weeks left to find out I think, or 8 possibly, depending on when it starts...is it on BBC3 again or BBC1? In the meantime, I will dream that there is nothing at all being worn...and then dream a little further hehe

And talking of thinking about him too much, I've had 2 moments this weekend. Meant to write "Antibiotics" on shopping list but wrote Aidan instead. Then, in the carpark at Tesco's, saw a man with dark curly hair, those reflective sunglass things and a fag, and was staring at him for a good 5 minutes before man elbowed me and pointed out that it was rude to stare. Luckily, this poor AT-lookalike didn't see me :P

As far as i know they've another 3 weeks or so of filming left because at Mayhem in Nottingham (2 weeks ago just over), they said they had about 5 weeks left of filming so they'll be finishing off the last few bits! I keep an eye out on the way to work just in case I see the vans but only had one glimpse about 10 days ago but if you're lucky you never know you might see them..good luck!

Evening everyone... sent a fewv tweets...don't know if anyone there to read them but heh ho.
Work manic today ...all systems doen so we had to resort to no computers, no whiteboards etc....felt I was going back to chalk and talk era. Mkaes me realise how we've come to rely so much on technology...all for the good...in the main. I mean, without it we wouldn't have this blog would we! Does mean a difficult week ahaed when we try to catch up on things.
read previous posts...can I join in the Aidan rescue...I have...certain skills which I'm sure will make his rescue a success and..also...make him eternally grateful to we 'slightly' older women.
So whilst the younger ones are scaling the outside walls...I can be cunningly making my way in through a secret passage in that building which only i know and release the lovely boy from his capture...and then...he's so grateful that he....well need I say more!
Now the Clinic...clearly I don't really know the story but....the boy is shot!!! poor Brown....just as well she's left the country I say

Having looked it up the abominable slave trade began in Bristol in 1673, so yes I'm a bit out on my dates. Bristol was trading goods across the Atlantic mid 16th century (again having looked it up - I'm no historian)
Wiki says - '1557 explorer Martin Frobisher arrived in the city with two ships and samples of ore, which proved to be worthless. He also brought, "three savages, doubtless Esqiumaux, clothed in deerskins, but all of them died within a month of their arrival".

I was thinking that I'd be there on my own whilst the rest of you were throwing chairs at each other or scaling walls....tell you what...I'll 'look after him' first ...then ..maybe pass him on for ...future comforts to you younger models. Don't know much about slave trade in Bristol but know a little bit...slavery is still around of course and has been for centuries...that gives BH team a lot of scope about where and when they visit and with whom....Richard Turner may come into it but I'm thinking they're going to go further back to another ancient vampire who may or may not be him but who may have had a whole lot of influence on what happens to our vampire and his pals...they're going to the beginning of another century but Uncle Colin wouldn't say which one...now that is interesting...perhaps that's the slave trade era, say 17-1800s...I'm getting all sorts of ideas coming through now, all of which are probably total rubbish!
Like the idea of someone...or something...else being on board...Mitchell or someone said that vampires had been around since the Crusades....I think possibly before then, they didn't just pop up around 1100s but must have come from somewhere...am now a geek, it's official hehe

Ooh but speaking of things auctioned for children in need Oh My God I want Barrowmans boots! Did you see him on round the world in 80 days?? He got some custom made cowboy boots with the 80 days logo and "JB" on them and they are absolutely beautiful and he danced in them then signed them and autioned them off - last time I looked they were nearly 3 grand probably gone up a lot by now but oh God they were just fabulous darling lol seriously but I want some I can actually wear!

Brilliant - sorry didnt see my name there didnt realise youd asked me a question lol JB was amazing he really was but it was completely different to meeting the BH lot much more formal had a great giggle - waited about 5 hours but had a grand old time lol I wont go into too much detail but there was an incident involving all 3 security guards, some cracking JB tunes and a feather boa...lol not that I was distracting them from security-ing you understand :-P but everyone was getting antsy so we had a bit of a song and a boogie - its all good :-D and I think John would've approved...and then I met him for about 20 seconds and just...blah lol it was like being in the same room as a god - no kidding I went from my usual never shuts up self to a complete wreck in ten seconds flat lol wasnt as bad as some though - some fainted, plenty cried - it was mad!

Had one of my BH weird dreams last night...I work in a rather lovely part of Bristol, and found myself travelling down the road past the Zoo in, yes, a large paisley armchair with wheels!...I kid you not...on the right there are trees and bushes and some crew were hauling a metal-framed coffin over a tree branch...the coffin appeared to have a body inside wrapped in a shroud...then later there was another scene with a large iron cage (empty) with crew and cameras but no cast at all, more's the pity.. it was one of the oddest dreams I've had, well about BH anyway...
You had any lately (dreams, that is)? Am missing Brown and her banter too...

ALL: Right...bbcbeinghuman have tweeted to say that there's a revelation somewhere in S2, perhaps in Epi6...
Could be something to do with Nina and her hinted-at connection with Mitchell's "type" before...when they were smoking outside the hospital and she said she wasn't attracted to his type "any more"... anything to do with the abdominal scarring or are her scars due to accident or a brush with something else supernatural? Or an innocent remark?
Is she, or one of the other main characters, aware that they are something else? Or that they're something else and unaware of it, and it all comes out towards the end of S2? If so, what? Is Nina already a vampire or at least been bitten/attacked by one in the past in some way?
Does Mitchell turn bad again but this time finds it hard to get back on the wagon? Is Seth really not as bad as he's painted (yeah OK, bit far-fetched that one) lol
Does Mitchell inadvertently 'kill' someone who is a family member whom he has no idea he is related to, perhaps a new character in S2 or perhaps in his past? He is bound to have family somewhere but won't necessarily know who they are and they won't know him after 90 years! Perhaps that totally turns him away from being bad and more determined to be humanised, but also isolates him because he can't forgive himself and maybe because initially others believe he killed on purpose, not by accident/self-defence...or perhaps George kills accidentally in the same way...we're back to killing Nina here again, suppose that's a possibility...can't see any of the main 3 characters being bumped off at this point...unless...another time maybe..

Hi Anglo: excellent bit of theorizing there. Got me thinking too. A revelation huh!Thinking that there are a lot of flashbacks in ep2 leads you to think that it must be something in someone's past. Mitchell is bound to have had an interesting past and it seems he enjoyed killing. Annie, well given she was 'shown the door' in a ghost style way I am thinking her past issues must have been resolved so it's a forward story for Annie. She will probably be 'living' more when she is dead than she was when she was alive. So, what about Russell? we don't know much about his past other than he was an academic and knows a number of languages and a nice girl friend, nice family life awaited. But here's one for you anglo - yes he speak French German, Spanish and Italian but also - Croatian and Russian - I'm thinking not so far from Romania and you guessed it Transilvania. Not quite sue where that is leading to however???

Did I hear there were twin babies onset or was I delirious at the time? A distinct possibility. Can't find any blogs on it now but have a vague recollection. If so, then how about this one, if Mitchell was 'killed' late in the great war, say 1918, and he was about 20 at the time he would have been about 2 years old at the turn of the century. Maybe Mitchell has/had an identical twin! Just think girls two Mitchells. That thought should keep me going for a good while ;-D

Love your idea about Russell and certain bits of Eastern Europe...it could be something to do with him...maybe his parents aren't his real parents and he was adopted and his blood family are somewhat darker...or Mitchell with the same story....ha! Mitchell and Seth or Herrick are related...how wild is that? lol
Seriously, I wondered about Annie because her story is the 'A' story in part or most of S2 according to Colin Teague...I wondered if she was supposed to go through the door and the fact that she didn't, because it was her decision, has changed things far more than she reckoned on them changing, and not for the better. Still think that the machine we saw in the review of S2 at Mayhem was something to do with ghosts and trying to make something like a ghost into a human being again, for example....there was a male 'ghost' who was standing in what looked like a giant scanner and he was told by a guy called Kemp that "nothing will change, but everything will change" as the machine was fired up. So, yeah, Annie's in for a rough ride I think.
I also remember the Night Shoot video where Aidan said there was a lot more action and that he'd had to take a couple of punches or one punch, and that generally there were more vampires around...seems everybody has a rough ride!
Mitchell's past has been, er, somewhat colourful...he was bad for around 50 years or so...maybe someone he killed/made into a vampire wants revenge... then turned 'good' or at least better in 1960s (back to Josie again...I wonder if she was the only reason though, unless there was another reason he decided to turn over a new leaf, or try to)....there is more of his past in S2 because we've been told that. Would love to know more about him; he's definitely a mysterious one... well, they all are because we know so little about all of them, so hopefully we'll learn a lot more and be enlightened!
The babies...now the lady who was the mother of those babies came on the blog a few weeks ago but didn't and couldn't say much for obvious reasons....but I was thinking that when you're filming with children, the rules are very strict, so what if there weren't supposed to be twins in S2 but only one child played by two babies, and that maybe the child is either in a backstory and is, like you say, related to one of our trio, or is the child of one of them, or a child of one of the other main characters...and how important is that child? There could be twins in S2 as well of course...it would be great if it was a backstory about Mitchell being a twin but then his twin would be very old or very dead, and they'd have to either base the backstory in Dublin or get a lot of Dublin/Irish actors over to do scenes over here to make it look like over there...quite expensive and their budget isn't great... unless there are relatives of his around, who don't know him and he doesn't know them, but they meet anyway, something terrible happens and it all hits the fan...or in fact the same thing could happen to George. I do get the impression that one or both of them are badly affected by the things that happen to them in S2..

ATfan1: Quads! As a zygote is a single fertilised cell formed from two gametes, that must mean that dizygotic twins are formed from two fertilised cells....correct? I'm not entirely sure what exactly that means in terms of Aidan and Ben playing twins but I'd guess non-identical which of course you've said in (203)! Therefore it must be monozygotic twins which are identical...I remember that from biology...bet Mitchell never has problems with gametogenesis!

Evening everyone...here only for short time....weather in these parts ...lets just say is FOUL! I´m ok but friends a little further north in danger of flooding...you´ll see why I´m a little distracted from the blog. I´m supposed to be assisting a Children in Need event tomorrow but may need to be assisting a friends in need event instead!
Well...twins and things...I think the twins brought in were because they needed a few babies basically looking the same/same age because of amount of time children can spend on set...is this too simplistic?
Don´t know about back story re Mitchell and twins....there´s more than enough `stuff´ to do back stories on him.
Don´t think Annie will supersede Mitchell, George in particular for grabbing main story lines in BH2 ...she´s clearly found a `friend´ in new ghost but somehow I think the machine we saw on BH2 trailer at Nottingham ( and BHTeam- when can we see this again..Please!) is for all our main characters...not just Annie. I get the impression form all revealed so far that it´s vampires who are the main stories in BH2...and Prof Jagad (?) and his/her accomplices.

Honestly, I wasn't suggesting werewolves come from Transylvania I was trying to develop a back story linking the werewolves and the vamps. How about this - even more far fetched - George's father or grandfather was a vamp hunter in Slovakia/Russia,hence the slight language connection? George has no knowledge of this of course.
I am however sticking with my flash-back episode of 2 twenty year old Mitchells before they go off to war. It's just too good.

He only did a short run of Hamlet - slipped a disc in his back and had to have surgery I believe! How gutting would that be if you paid all that to see him and then he was recovering..... Still, he needed to recover thoroughly lol.
But yes, any AT/BT , DT or JB wouldn't go amiss in any shape or form!

Baloo (214) They're great theories...I love the one about the Mitchell brothers aged around 26 ish too...am thinking that maybe Ben's character (theoretically of course) survived, came to live in England after being invalided back here to recuperate and met a nurse, married her, stayed here, had children....and one of them is either a woman Mitchell falls for, or someone he has to kill (probably both knowing Mitchell) lol...only afterwards does he realise that a) he has fallen in love with a relative but b) he has killed her either by accident or design as well....how unlucky can you be..

No, no honestly they are crap theories but I just can't help myself! I'll just try not to get too far fetched. But I agree anglo there has just got to be a relation connection associated with Mitchell somewhere in series 2 - or I'll eat my hat!
If however by some sheer fluke I guess something I am always really disappointed that I guessed it - But I think the BH team have truly flummoxed me (What a great word flummoxed is - almost as good to write as it is to say)
Would love to see any of the boys in Shakespeare - but particularly AT. Let me know if you hear of anything.

I'm just convinced that either Mitchell or George, or both, have fairly devastating times in S2...something happens to both of them...omg what happens if they find out they're connected in someway other than their issues with wolves and biting? Unsure how but somehow...but we were also told a main character dies and also "someone kills, someone dies"...I've been over this bit ad nauseam so I won't bore you too much but I think Nina dies or perhaps George/Mitchell kills Nina...but there's a lot of killing, a lot of blood (we've been told) so therefore a lot of action.
God I can't wait for January..mind you it's December in less than 2 weeks so it's speeding up...stuff Christmas just get me to January 1020!

I soooo cant wait for season 2 of Being Human but i would like to pick a couple faults with season 1 n apologises for saying this. As a keen werewolf fan for about 25 or so years, i noticed that George only changes once a month??...the moon in FULL 3 days a month so surely....ok sorry, 1 other thing, Georges girlfriend mentions that there is a fullmoon when in the room with George, George obviously says its not..when we saw the moon it was on the verge of the newmoon stage. Sorry bout that but i just wanted to say, on the plus side i really do love the show. Well done people.
