New to BH? Watch out, this post contains spoilers from series one...

Owen... Seth... Tully... Lauren... Bernie... so many characters have entered the Being Human world.  Some have remained.  Some have fallen by the wayside.  Some may even return.

But none of them will be forgotten.

Now, at the end of series one, we must pause for breath and see how far we've come in our very special look back at the series.

Don't forget, If you want to watch the full episodes again you'd better hurry, as they'll stop being available on iPlayer this Sunday at 8:59pm.  But worry not!  We've also got one more exclusive video to bring you right here on the blog, because on Monday Russell Tovey will be answering your questions and leaving us with a very special end of series message.

So be strong.  Be brave.  Yes, this is the end.  But don't fear the men with ropes and sticks.

Think of Lauren.  A happy end.

Oh my...

See you Monday.

*wracks brains to figure out how a human could be a greater threat than Herrick* couldn't a vampire/or a werewolf just kill a human? I'm intrigued as to what will happen.

I haven't seen the Prince Caspian one, so can't really relate to that.

But the last video on Monday....nooooooo! What will I do with my days?

Like in episode 4. I think it's an interesting thing for a show like this to explore!

I quite like the idea of a human enemy. Particularly as the main characters are trying to be human too (as another mentioned above.)

Rather than 'the Professor' and his people being scientists who wish to experiment on supernaturals, I think it would be interesting if they were actually coming from a human moral standpoint. I.e. they see supernaturals as evil and to be slain.

It would show an interesting ambiguity. Monsters trying to be good vs. humans, being monstrously ruthless in their pursuit in what they believe to be the right thing.

As for Seth, judging by the stake stuck through his chest, I'm thinking he is a goner.

True, we didn't see him crumple into dust (which doesn't mean he didn't off-screen of course. There are only so many advanced affects like that a low budget show can afford.) That stake was pretty central though. I don't think 'some will come back' includes the dead, dead. (Bearing in mind vampires and ghosts are just singular dead. ;) )

I think we might see Tully again though. It would be interesting to see if there is a werewolf community analogue to the vampires too, or are they all loners? Wolves are supposed to be pack animals after all.

MarvMarble - agreed! I quite like the idea of humans persecutung monsters in order to be 'doing good' - much prefer it to secret government scientists.

either a group of humans who want to eradicate them totally or who want to 'cure them' - dark materials/one flew over the cuckoos nest style with something that zaps their soul/spirit and just leaves them as human zombies.

Werewolves and humans cant have babies - but what about werewolves and werewolves? Nina is now a werewolf too(very almost probably)afterall.

perhaps its like a recessive werewolf gene and you need one from each parent before it works????

Any who, only ep 6 left on the i player

as Josie said in her final words - "you can start to feel the party winding down around you..."

I think I will just watch Toveys questions, fall asleep in Mitchels arms with his topless body as my pillow and then that will be it for me.

So goodbye all you lovely computery people and fans thank you for answering questions, creating interesting discussions and staying up til stupid o clock to discuss the preferred length of Aidans beautiful locks.

I expect to see most of you back when season 2 starts or BH the musical is out - whichever is first.

Thanks for the update! I had thought there was one more bit of unfinished business.

"dont worry, eagle_eyes4, I dont like Owen either. He gives me the creeps."

I think that's the point, although I'd be thoroughly creeped out by an Owen who managed to be still likable at all. Owen's a dead ringer for my last boss, which is awkward since he's still a friend, yet looks like someone who cheated on, then killed his fiancée. (There are two Es in fiancée.)

ugh yeah i'd rather not have BH associated with Twilight... very different things.

That cruddy american teen movie and this amazingly well written and produced tv show are WORLDS apart.. they just happen to both have creepy beasties in them.

Then again, i don't know about the books. Someone described them as literary crack... bad for you, but so damn addictive. So i'm steering clear of even trying them until i've got a spare weekend on my hands.. and that will have to be after the several weeks i've put aside for watching my BH dvds on repeat.

They are actually crack, the books I mean. I hate the author for subjecting people to so many ridiculously lame and damaging themes, but I can also completely understand the hype surrounding it all. As escapism goes, the books are pretty effective.

i agree with the Being Human Twilight thing... completely different apart from the coincidence(spellling) that it contains the same creatures.

Anyway i only came on here because i suddenly had an idea for seres two... someone on another blog said they think annie and mitchell will become an item but i think they might get it on and half way through mitchell might try to bite her because of his lust, but then annie will be like "OMG did you just try and bite me?" and theyll have a huge hilarious arguement. opinions...

p.s. Toby Whithouse said the enemy in series two is human, well, imagine its Janey.
