ok so genuinely this ep had me laughing and in tears and in complete shock, i don't even know where to start, im still in tears!

Loved George's opening monologue, really moved me and made me think. And could George get more adorkable in this ep? 'who wants some of my chair?'!! genius!!

Mitchell and lauren-yup theres tears no 1. brilliantly done, dont wanna say too much for those who havent seen it yet but amazing.

Owen-the guy who plays Owen deserves a medal for this ep, he played smarmy, disgusting and evil perfectly. the scene with annie and him on the stairs took my breath away.

and Annie-dear, sweet Annie. Lenora is incredible, every week she becomes my favourite thing for one reason or another and this week was no exception. Her portrayal of Annie had me in tears at the end, i was actually sobbing when she was talking to George and Mitchell, and as i said im still teary from it.

and the end- dear god the end. Honestly how can you leave us like this??? how????? its not fair!!!

an incredible episode folks, i honestly wnt know what to do with myself when this show finishes. Please please please let us know soon if there will be a series 2.

  • Comment number 3.

In the words of Bridget Jones...Oh my bloody god and ****! I hope I can say that coz that is seriously what i am screaming right now!

    WOWWWWWWWW

Too good for words really, and still reeling again, but spot on script, spot on balance between (just brilliant) humour and darkness, spot on acting, spot on everything. I even really really liked Lauren Typical!

    Amazing, amazing, AMAZING!

    I can't believe we have to wait..arrrrrrrrrrgh

  • Comment number 4.

    Oh My God!!!!!!

Absolutely amazing. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but you'll laugh and cry at this. I especially like the bit with the chair and the fist!

Can't believe there's only one episode left, but I can't wait to see it!

  • Comment number 5.

    Just. still. oh. my. god.

  • Comment number 6.

OH.MY.GOSH!!!!!! How could you guys do this to us?!?! That has got to be the biggest cliffhanger in the history of tv/film/drama/life!!! Woah. It was pretty darn amazing though!!

  • Comment number 7.

What an ending! Do they all go through the door?!!

  • Comment number 8.

    Whoa.

Bloody brilliant episode. Can't wait to see how they follow it up next week.

  • Comment number 9.

I should start by saying that this was THE BEST EPISODE EVER, so I can be sure that no one misunderstands the following; but I've come over incredibly forlorn, now. It's the men with sticks and rope :( And, oh, George. Nobody tell George, oh god, oh god..

    also, SETH! NOOOOO!

Seriously, I'm emotionally wrecked. Well done.

  • Comment number 10.

OMFG this episode was something else! BEST. EPISODE. EVER!!!
laugh out loud funny and yet crying five minutes later!!
You can't end it like that, you can't you can't you can't!!

  • Comment number 11.

    OMG!!
    Loved every moment of it!
Won't say much for now... but the week is going to be a long one what a cliffhanger to leave us on!!
    Bravo!
    Just Bravo!!

  • Comment number 12.

Wow! How could they leave that cliffhanger? Mitchell is my fave character, so just nooo! the whole series is great so there best be a series 2!

& just to ask- do werewolves age? + can vampires get pregnant (i guess not, but i thought id ask anyway).

    love it, keep it up
    x

  • Comment number 13.

Holy shit. I think I'll go mad wondering what happens next. Is it next Saturday yet?

  • Comment number 14.

    Holy crap what an episode!!!
I was also in tears towards the end :(
please please give us another series, we gotta know what happens to the gang.
being human is such an awesome show i would watch it till the end

  • Comment number 15.

    OMG!!!

well done guys - amazing episode!!!

  • Comment number 16.

    OH MY GOD!!!!!
i dunno what to say, just OMG!!!

  • Comment number 17.

WTF! thats just mean...I cant belive its left hanging like that!!

  • Comment number 18.

    Still OMG...
Sperkii - you right, Lauren was a twist I did not expect... I loved it and loved her for it! Good on her!

I think I am going to have to watch it again... right now... just got to get myself a coffee ... I have to make my own you see... not like Mitchell.. :-)

  • Comment number 19.

OMG!!! What an ending. That episode had it ALL...laughs, sobs, pure evil and true hide behind hands moments.Screaming at the PC at the end thinking that there had to be more. But no error that was the end of ep 5! How can we ENDURE a week to fine out what happens? How do we cope when its all over? Please say series 2 is on the way.....??

  • Comment number 20.

oh, and I'm gonna have to watch it all again on iplayer tomorrow to see the preview for next week!!!

  • Comment number 21.

Okay i think i can talk now, but still OH MY GOD!!!
Can anyone refer me to a good Being Human forum because i really need to talk about this last episode but I don't want to spoil if for people by posting here.

I will say though that this episode was excellent!! Had me laughing out loud several times and yet in the last scene i was close to tears. Never before has a show made me go through such a range of emotions in a single episode. Never before have i come so close to tears because of a t.v show and it's rare that i even laugh out at a show. Seriously this program is amazing, it has got to be the best program on telly. But how can you leave us on a cliffhanger like that?!?! Now part of me really can't wait for next week but the other part of me wants to wait because along with next week bringing the next episode it also brings the end of the series. There has got to be a series two!!! I will stand outside the BBC in protest if there isn't. But please can we have all the same cast for next series as well. I've really grown to love them all.
Anyway I think that's all, sorry for the long post.

  • Comment number 22.

Miss Beadie - I know exactly how you feel...
I guess you could go to the Facebook Being Human page...

As for next week episode same feeling, I can't wait for it but then again we know it will be the last one for a while... such a bitter sweet feeling!
    Damn!!

  • Comment number 23.

wow...what secret did she tell him????
I am gobsmacked to heck and beyond....wow again

  • Comment number 24.

    Bloody brilliant!

Except that the iplayer stopped working 2 minutes before the end. Im going mental I cant wait a whole 24 hours before I get to find out what happens i those last two minutes arrrrrrgh.

  • Comment number 25.

    FLIPPIN HECK!
A lot can happen in two minutes!!!!

    Bloody flippin Brilliant!!!!

I feel more tense now than before I finished watching it. Arrrrrrrrrrgh. Bring on the next episode quick - there better be good conclusions & sort of happy endings for everyone.

I can't take any more drama.

  • Comment number 26.

Great episode! Annie whispering at the end had me racking my brain trying to remember that quote about death from the pilot show..

Really been enjoying the series thus far, but really, budget permitting can we let George's alter ego off the leash? ( No pun intended!) Perhaps i've just seen one two many Underworld movies to just accept him as the comedy side kick. He's a werewolf! One of him could easily KO a few podgy faced northern undead.

They allow Mitchell to wander about in the daytime but stick to the lore about lunar cycles for Lycanthropes?
Still one episode to go and hopefully a 2nd series, here's to hoping one dog finally gets his day!

  • Comment number 27.

Oh My God! Oh My God! Oh My God!! That was a brilliant episode!!!! Whats gonna happen next week?! I dont think I can wait!!! Oh My God!!!!!! (",)

  • Comment number 28.

Oh my! Wow, that was so amazing. I'm still in shock, I could normally guess the things that happen next in other shows but this has totally taken me by surprise. I love this show, can't wait for next week's but hate that it's the last one.

  • Comment number 29.

Is that 'tumbling' Teague's name I see on the director credits on the fansite for this ep 0_0

  • Comment number 30.

I love that everyone had the same initial reaction to this episode! What a shocker eh?

    Good work!

Lauren has totally redeemed her self for any needy pathetic manipulativeness. I might actually miss her. Please god don't let them write out any of the main characters and that includes Nina and Herrick.

I love that Annie knows the secret that drove Owen mad.

I want to know more than just sticks and rope, but terrified that if they explain it fully we can only be dissappointed and if they don't explain it, we will be eternally frustrated.

You've raised the bar and had better come through for us with the last episode. Oh and Mitchell had blimmen well better make it through to the end with out one overgelled hair on his pretty little head harmed.

one other class line right at the end - 'Well, in that case...we're going to need a different form.'

  • Comment number 31.

    OMG OMGO

how, hwy,i can't even ype properly!!

  • Comment number 33.

OMG!!! It took me about three hours to watch this (stupid uni internet...) and god was it worth it!!!
    Such a cliffhanger!!

I don't want to spoil it for anyone but all I can say is George with his mobile phone charger and whisk... I was laughing SO much! I cant wait for the next episode to see how it all works out and I hope theres a new series coming ASAP once this one finishes!

  • Comment number 34.

Owen might not make his own coffee, but he does make it for others - Black no sugar splash of cold water

  • Comment number 35.

I've been screaming 'WHAT!?!' at the screen for the last two minutes. That was incredible. Toby Whithouse, you are both brilliant and a complete bastard for that cliffhanger. Cannot wait for next week!

  • Comment number 36.

OMG!!!! brilliant episode as always and what an ending!. Have mixed feeling's about next week's episode (6) as i cant wait to see it but at the same time i'll be sad it's the last one. Hurry up and start making season 2 guy's!. x

  • Comment number 37.

OH MY GOD!!!! THAT WAS AMAZING!!! I am really just speachless!!

Everything, the story, the characters, the acting.... honestly I could just go on and on about how amazing it was! The whole series so far!

Won't spoil it for anyone reading this, but if you're just about to watch it, make sure you are doing nothing else for the next hour, I promise you wont regret it!!

    WOW, Wow, wow, wow, wow!!!

Can't wait fot the next episode!!

Ooohooo, I love this show so much!! ... just speachless.....

  • Comment number 38.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD

  • Comment number 39.

And Annie was right i cant believe is she actually going to go.

But Micthel id growing soo close to him and i understood him and when wat happened happened i scearmed and i have to see those last 2 minutes because obv alot can happen.

Also George he cant be left alone after all he's done with his girly punch and he charming perfomce he cant be left they tryed so hard to fit in and it#s all going to waste now.

Sorry for really long message im just in such a state of shock !!!

  • Comment number 40.

Oops didnt mean to just post that but oh my god!

How can you leave it like that?!?!?! no bit to show us next episode no nothing no argh!!
Oh my god im actually shaking lol how sad - this is the first episode to make me cry but i laughed so much - "so far i have a whisk and a phone charger!" and "oh my god we're like the gayest ninga's ever!"

But oh my god seriously how could you leave it like that?!?! I really dont like you lot right now!! But Toby you said youd planned for a second series so he cant die can he? not mitchell not my mitchell :-( nooooooooooo he cant he cant ive convinced myself - hes too human to die like that - he became a vampire to save his men he didnt do it because he was selfish maybe this means something? and also he can look after georges star of david he isnt affected like the others are so maybe the stake too? lthogh im pretty convinced thatd ill anyone (oh by the way george you great nonse hes already technically dead how the hell is phoning an ambulance gonna help!!) oh i really hope im right this is gonna be such such a long week!!!! oh my god i cant say anything else im actually sat here saying oh my god over and over.
He cant die Mitchell cant die and Annie cant go not to the men with the sticks and the rope (by the way whoever asked - i assume that was the secret she told owen thats why mitchell said not to tell george - he doesnt need to know :-() but gilbert? gilbert went to a nice warm glow and he smiled he was happy????? so many questions they better get answered in the next episode!!
Oh my god ive just remembered something Toby put on one of his blogs :-D not gonna spoil it for everyone but woo i feel better now although i really dont see....oh my god!!!!!!!! lol im gonna stop typing now otherwise just gonna keep saying oh my god all night!!!!
thanks for a brilliant episode but you are so so so cruel for ending it like that!! athough ooh i think i might actualy have worked it out but still..... by the way loved the whole "Cant come in unless theyre invited" thing that was really really good and incredibly lucky for them!!

My god my heart is racing like you would not believe no doubt ill have loads more to say in a much calmer and more constructive way after a cup of tea and a think lol but for now...OH MY GOD!!

ps. I hope I am included in heband of loyal followers you mentioned at the top :-D

  • Comment number 41.

OK serious apologies for mega long post noone has to read tat just needed to get some stuff of my chest! i agree with the person who said Mitchell had better make it through without one single air harmed lol i thought i had it figured out but ive jut realised - in toby blog he said that mitchell explains some stuff in ep 6 so i thought he has to make it but people make deathbed speeches dont they! hed probably want george to know a few things before he dies :-( no no i cant think that its too sad...it cant...he cant theres a series 2 so he cant die im just gonna keep telling myself that i dont wanna contemplate a series 2 with no mitchell :-(

  • Comment number 42.

eagles_eyes, I was thinking the same thing about Gilbert being happy and going into a warm glow; Lauren seemed pleased to meet her death, too. Maybe there's something in it about having to have fulfilled some kind of mission or journey or something? The deaths between human life and supernatural life (human to vamp, human to ghost) seem to be filled with horrible things, but so far the ultimate deaths (vamp to death, ghost to death) appear to be a much nicer experience.

    Hmmmmm.

  • Comment number 43.

...actually that would mean that Seth went to a better place. Okay, I'm officially sticking to my theory, now.

RIP you tacky little wonder, you :(

  • Comment number 44.

OR, maybe it's something to do with the manner of death? The bad deaths were all times were life was snatched away from the character, but the good deaths were pretty much chosen, and the character was ready for them.

Christ, BH. It's three in the morning and I'm sitting here theorising on my own. DAMN YOU.

  • Comment number 45.

lol yay someoe else is awake! i wanna go on the forums but cant get i to work. Were you shouting oh my god too?

i agree with the death thing i said about he sticks and rope just being something to deter those who arent ready etc and i guess we still didnt see what was on the other side did we?

Ok on thing i must clarify - i said at the end o last episode i ws beginnig to empathise with herrick now definately not!! oh and william herrick? i always assumed herrick was his first name lol do we know mitchells sirname? (sorry cant be bothered with capital letters etc lol)

as for seth hmm...does anyone deserve such a bad death? really? even seth? perhaps even herrick? or am i too nice lol

  • Comment number 46.

youre not on your own lol i suffer from insomnia at the best of times but damn you now my head is spinnig mor than ever! what do you think about my theory for why mitchell just cant die lol am i clutching at straws? :-( by the way anyone else think its kind of cool that the very fist vampire (well ish) had the same sirname as Aidan :-) i like little coincdences like that :-)

  • Comment number 47.

Oh by the way ... the howard from the halifax comment lol i liked that - if i hadnt fallen so in love with the characters and been so worried about the serious side i might have laughed lol the fight with seth though that could make anyone laugh - brilliant. right ill stop posting now - sorry :-S really is testiment to the show though that it gets us talking like this - gets us thinking

  • Comment number 48.

I daren't say anything about Mitchell because I was a really bad girl last week and read an episode 6 synopsis that turned out to be quite spoilerish...

and LOL, I know what you mean about George calling for an ambulance. How exactly is that going to work?

    "HELP, MY FRIEND IS DYING!"
    "What's happened?"
"SOMEONE PUT A STAKE THROUGH HIS HEART!"
    "...why?"
    "BECAUSE HE'S A V- erm."

Would be a very good time to introduce Nursey Nina to all the Crazy in his life, though.

  • Comment number 49.

oh my god i never thought of that! oh my god its naughty. say no more my lips are sealed! lol we all have to be a bit bad sometimes though :-) i do like to work things out for myself though and i dont think it really spoils the show because even if we know what happens we dont know how. (have i justified my looking? lol)

lol would be fun to imagine that conversation though bless him lovely george always guarentee a laugh even in the worst situation...who else wants some of my chair!!! lol hilarious :-) cant believe we only have 1 episode of this series left :-(

  • Comment number 50.

I am genuinely stunned. This episode was an emotional roller coaster. How am I supposed to wait a week until the (GASP!) final episode? How am I even supposed to go to bed now?? I am too wired to sleep. . .

  • Comment number 51.

I for one am glad there's no straight answer about whether there's a series two, since that would sort of spoil series one. I wasn't even sure at times tonight there was really an episode six, which was the joy of watching this new with everyone else. If you watch after the fact or out of order, you know what not to worry about, and that's no fun.

Anyone else read the sign over the door and wonder?

  • Comment number 52.

Fantastic episode! A rollercoaster ride of thrills, spills and wet your pants hilarity. The scene where George and Annie go to Mitchells rescue in the funeral home had me in stitches - some really nice one liners. Lauren's desperation, Mitchell's angst, loved up George, and poor Annie up against the evil Owen...this episode had it all - not to mention a kick ass storyline and a nail biting cliff hanger...who's that door really for? None of our paranormal heros I hope! Bring on the next episode.

  • Comment number 53.

I had pretty much given up hope on British tv with the usual Saturday night over-hyped, terribly written dramas... until this show aired.
The writing is spot on, the acting is first class, the music, the lovable characters... I could go on. It has the perfect mix of depth and humour.
I would be very surprised if there wasn't a season 2. My only concern is that the actors will move on to something else because I think they are perfectly placed in those roles.
    Amazing! Please give us more.

  • Comment number 54.

OMGGGG!!!! I am in complete shock!!! I can't wait until next week's episode even though it's gonna be the last one :( But this ep has to be the best one yet, loved the bit when Annie and George went to 'save' Mitchell, had me rolling off my seat in fits =]

  • Comment number 55.

    Three things I noticed:

    1) I can now watch this video in the USA. Best surprise ever! Whoo hoo BBC.

2)There was massive character evolution. Normally, I see character evolution like what happened in this one episode only in season or series finales. At first I might think "Whoah... too fast!" But the pacing is absolutely perfect in regards. Bravo!

3)"We're like the two gayest ninjas ever." The episode was pure 100% awesome.

  • Comment number 56.

    Yes, yes and yes.....
terrific episode...even better than the last. I've been saying that from the start I know!
Mitch has been spiked in the upper right of his chest, a mere flesh wound to a vampire. I should know, being half and half...anyyyyyway....
I like this - release it first on I Player - it's like we have our own special screening...just for us!
Annie is not going through that door...not just yet! George can't do it on his own...he needs somebody to justify the violence to first. ;)

  • Comment number 57.

Arrrgh, who said about the sign above the door? I was desperately trying to read it but couldn't...how did you manage?

  • Comment number 58.

The writers have to make a second series or we'll have to sign another petition.

  • Comment number 59.

Jesus Christ that was amazing. annie cant go!!! we love those three!

  • Comment number 60.

sperkii, looked to me like 2 High St. or ? High St.

  • Comment number 61.

I thought it said 1 high street

  • Comment number 62.

wow that was one of the best episodes ever what a cliff hanger for a moment i thought that was it then i realised that there is one more episode left ,i cant wait

  • Comment number 63.

I caved and watched it on iplayer, i normally like to wait until tonight to see it on the actual telly.

    But Oh My bloody GOD!!

(So funny that that is what a lot have people commented)

The whole series has been great but this episode just blew the rest out of the park, and that is going some.

Totally and utterly amazing. The comedy, the heartbreak and then the bloody awful cliffhanger at the end.

Just wonderful. Pass me the petition for series two.

  • Comment number 64.

Can I just say now that I've calmed down a bit - B.Edwards????? Who thought up that terrible pun - genius!

Toby mentioned that he had written a hook in, that can lead on to the next series - so either there has to be a second series or we'll be left with a load of unanswered questions...NOOOO.

Also I loved Herricks little speech in the lift about being chosen, spoken like a true delusion dictator - nice touch.

  • Comment number 65.

    delusional - sorry

  • Comment number 66.

Yeah I'm sure it said 1 High St. Do you think this means it was somehow a fake. Lol maybe Mitchell's friend was right and there really are wizards!

  • Comment number 67.

I liked that line about George being a wizard lol its true we dont know what else could exist if they do! My posts have been refered to moeators any idea what this means - perhaps they were just too long lol too many oh my gods! oops sorrrrrrrry! really cant wait for next episode but dont want it to be the last one :-( it really is the best show on telly

  • Comment number 68.

Thanks stingeroo, Oh_Suzi and HumiliatedGrape...you obviously all have better eyes than me! Intriguing though isn't it?

Oh_Suzi, I agree Herrick's lift speech was a good touch. This programme is full of subtle but very accurate observations about cultures and behaviours, it's very good.

I also thought it was an interesting touch to bring in an old girlfriend o Mitchell's...bit more insight into Mitchell's past, highlighting how Mitchell is frozen in time etc.

Just waaay too much to comment on on this one.

  • Comment number 69.

OK this is way off track - Shellmoby you asked about the argument re Annie and Owen, from Ep 3.

    Here's my theory.

Annie finds strange pants and confronts Owen.
Owen thinks crap! they are Janey's. I'll do the usual crap manipulatiive boy trick, I'll accuse her before she accuses me, divert attention and make her feel guilty.
Massive argument ensues and another opportuity for Owen to be abusive he gets carried away. Annie ends up dead. Thong somehow is covered in blood, he thinks crap they might trace it back to Janeys then me, he panicks and flushes them down the loo.

    My flimsey circumstancial evidence:

1.We hear Owen say, 'Did you wear these for him Annie did you make him cum, you are nothing but a cheap whore.' waving thong in her face.

2.We now know for a fact Owen and Janey were having an affair whilst Annie was alive.

3.In Ep 5 Whilst waiting for Janey to come home home Annie is fiddling with the washing - namely a very familiar white thong.

    Tada!

  • Comment number 70.

I am a little confused re the whole death secret thing. Why did Gilbert greet his death with a wry smile if something not pleasant on the other side awaited? Why also did Lauren seem almost elated at the moment of passing if the terrible fate annie has hinted at awaited. Thing is Annie and Mitchell are the only ones who hint at knowing about what awaits, but in actual fact they only know what awaits in the first stage post death .. Annie has avoided going through the door and Mitchell was revived in the undead vampire state. So they really don't know what happens beyond the initial transition from life.

  • Comment number 71.

You're right sperki theres too much to talk about on this one! it really is brilliantly done.

something thats not been raised yet i dont think - waht did everyone think of Michells costume in this one he suddenly becomes a lot more of a stereotypial vampre as far as looks goes - hes always worn black but always with a bit of colour like that bright yellow t shirt or the funky jackets and as soon as he goes back to them he seems to have dropped all that sticking to black shirts etc and quite skinny black jeans - think he looks a lot more "vampire-ish" than human. May just be me though lol maybe im reading too much into it as usual and his yellow t shirt/funky jackets were in the wash :-)

  • Comment number 72.

ok, i'm in the middle of exams, which has left the normally functioning part of my brain defunct.....

....in what way is B.Edwards a pun???

  • Comment number 73.

I liked the black! Also liked Lauren's outfit more without the jacket. But, more vamp than human, you're right.

  • Comment number 74.

why is my last post taking so long to verify. does not break any listed house rules :-(

  • Comment number 75.

If vampires are created by drinking the blood of an existing vampire . .the obvious question arises .. how did the first one get created? ;-)

  • Comment number 76.

    omg omg omg omg
    :-o

I need to watch again because this was so fast in plot and twists I'm sure I missed bits, ep 5 is BH + caffeine!

Again the humour mixed with the angst so I was in midst of a smile then 'hit' with a shock. The woman M knew from the '60's (I didn't catch her name) very wise, I wonder how many people know about vamps and could be what our three need for backup.
H coming to the house has me puzzled why vamps haven't before, did H order them not to? I only just remembered in time he can't enter unless one of them invites him in which they won't. L is gone? :-( But she just showed humanity! I actually liked S for being the weasel that he is, who else can irritate like that? I want to put "Jacob's Creeky" on a t-shirt if there are any cons for BH show.
Great detail from the writer, we've all been puzzling over G's amulet now this ep it has purpose 8-)
The gnome wallpaper is starting to grow on me, is that a sign I'm way too fanatic about the show ;-)
But ep 6 *can't* be the end of BH! The characters mean a lot to us and we're so drawn into the circumstances.

Off the top of my head the best moments of this ep for me were the "chair", "whisk and phone charger" the best weapons for heroes :-)

O is so bad Vamps don't recruit him because he might just rival H for meglomaniac "try to take over the world" levels!

I'm going to watch again now so I can follow what was going on in this ep

i think the vampire side is based on the anne rice version. so they say we have been around for thousands of years and the death and re-vampire life is similar, and so is the day light thing (but only with very old vampires).
i would be surprised if they didn't also pick up on the rice story that the oldest vampire makes the strongest, new recruits.
but maybe that's me... i was a 14 year old anne rice junkie.

I can't wait for the preview of ep6

  • Comment number 79.

Same, i really can't wait to see that. Hopefully we'll get an idea of the fate of the characters

Best line was Laurens "at least he wont be looking at my t*ts anymore when he's talking to me" ha ha

Just realised that, on top of Mitchell saying to Herrick about the things he'd seen in between and Mitchell and Annie always being anxious not to let Goerge know what happens when you die, the chap that's recruited in this episode says 'Men...there were men' when he woke up. I am extremely unnerved by this whole men with sticks and ropes lark. Still..intriguing

I wonder how the vampires can survive in top positions without moving on. People will spot the fact that they have not aged. One would assume that you can't get to Herrick's police position by just walking in off the street but would have to be established and have climbed the ladder. Also Mitchell seems to have ben around in one place(Bristol - yay!) for a long time, surprised more people from the past would not have spotted the fact he hasn't aged apart from the ex girlfriend this week.

Just remembered something else i wanted to ask andforgot in all the exciement lol it really is so fast this episode!

Any ideas what Herrick was taking just before the "who wants some of my chair!" scene? well vampires cant get ill so itcouldnt have been medication and i cant somehow imagine herick being on drugs - blood is the drug isnt it. so any ideas?

I dont rckon therell be a preview tll be too muc of giveaway bout mitchell and annie wont it. But blood comes out f Mitchells mouth that didnt happen to Lauren which leads me to believe that he might be injured not dying and as someone pointed out the stake is throgh the top right of his chest not in the centre like laurens. Im not sure about Seth - we didt see him die i have 2 theories - either 1. this is to make Laurens death more dramatic as we don know whats coming or 2. hes nt actually dead - he is credited to episde 6 so im not sure about him...hmm so many questions!!

  • Comment number 86.

Oh yeah, I was gonna ask about what Herrick was taking as well...I am guessing it could be revealed later

  • Comment number 87.

Also what the hell was Mitchell thinkng he was about to go out before the door came?! Hes a vampire surely he knows that Herrick and the others cant get in while hes at home why would he leave? what was so important? where do we think he was going? dont suppose he wanted to die wanted them to get him thinking the others would be safer or?

lol just watching the door scene - georges wee comment - hilarious lol

  • Comment number 88.

YES YES YES...bring on episode 6 (although I don't want it to end!)

  • Comment number 89.

Clever of them to only show George in the preview...we still won't know if Mitchell survived or Annie went throught the door til next week

  • Comment number 90.

Ok i stand corrected they anaged to give a preview! but oh my god now i want episode 6 even more!! we see george tranform again so why will that be important? just a bit of filler for the preview or can george be let loose on the vampires in wolf mode?! could he kill them? hmm not sure if that has ever been raised can werewolves kill vampires? could certainly be an intresting concept...

  • Comment number 91.

Yes someone mentioned/requested it elsewhere, especially because of Underworld

  • Comment number 92.

Utter genius! The way you guys keep pulling it off. Each episode offers a mix of emotions and twists and turns that are mindblowing. But hey, don't just take my word for it, the amount of positive comments posted here should be an indication of what BH is doing to viewers the world over. I second each and everyone who has been pleading for a second series.

  • Comment number 93.

This may seem stupid, but somewhere i read Toby Whithouse saying that in episode 6 there is a dramatic twist to take it into series 2 and i was wondering whether maybe the twist is all the characters die. If series 2 was set in the next life or they are all somehow stuck in between the two and it's about them trying to get back. So maybe Annie does go through the door and Mitchell does die and George saying "it's time" is him deciding to commit suicide. It's just a theory and i don't really believe it myself because i don't see how they could have a whole series set in the afterlife but i just thought i would throw it out there.

  • Comment number 94.

btw so annoyed with the preview for next episode. Was really hoping we would get some hint as to the fate of Annie and Mitchell. I guess i should have known better, that would have been too much of a give away.

  • Comment number 95.

I...am speechless. This has actually made my year, this series. And I love some of the epic lines being delivered. Especially when Owen goes to confess and tells the police officer what is going on and all he says is he needs a different form!! I can't wait for episode 6, and I hope there is a second series!!! I love it, especially Mitchell and George!!!

  • Comment number 96.

Miss_Beadie ...yay! then they could bring back Gilbert! :-)

  • Comment number 97.

It's going to be a long, long week until Ep 6!

Roll on Series 2. And if it's not yet commissioned, where's the on-line petition to make sure it is?

  • Comment number 98.

Wow! how amazing was that. The end totally surprised me. Can't wait for next week.

    Oh my flippin' word.
How can you possibly leave us hanging like that?
The amount of questions spinning around in my head are uncountable!
    1. Does Mitchell live?
    2. Does Annie fo through?
    3. What does George do?
    4. Will there be a second (and maybe more) series?
    Brilliant. Top stuff. Just... wow.
    5 stars. :)
