On Saturday 7th August viewers can press red at the end of BBC Two's showing of Mahler's Symphony No.5, and watch his Symphony No.4.  Both symphonies were recorded on Thursday 5th August at the Royal Albert Hall.

Player Commentary
This year BBC Red Button has introduced Player Com, an interactive feature giving viewers a new perspective on the Proms from the musicians themselves. By pressing the Red Button during the performance viewers can listen to live commentary from two or more orchestral players and hear their unique insights into the music as the work is played.

On Friday 13th August the BBC Philharmonic are lending us Bob Chasey. Gareth Davies, who plays principal flute with the London Symphony Orchestra, will join Bob in a merry exploration of the night's music from the players' perspective.

The updated service brings with it brand new games for some of the most popular shows on CBeebies, including In the Night Garden and The Green Balloon Club. These new games replace the old ones, which had become increasingly outdated.

Satellite and digital terrestrial viewers will have slightly different offerings from one another. This has enabled us to offer the best games tailored to each system.

BBC Children's producer Damian Vicary discusses the service on the Press Red blog.
