BBC HD: Michael Jackson Tribute Update

Hi all,
I'm sorry about the viewing problems with the Michael Jackson Tribute. Like Krayzee, I also set my Sky + to record and got home to find that it had been knocked out by thunder, leaving me with a blue screen and just the sound coming through, so I share the frustration. But the event organisers were at least kind enough to finish in time for Torchwood though I had some anxious moments at around 8.15.
It looks unfortunately as if there are no worldwide rights to a repeat showing - so I'm sorry since we'd have liked to have done so, but if things change I'll bring you an update.

Please please please please please please please repeat the memorial service. Listen to your viewers.
I think a lot of people would like the chance to see it again in full and record it in full properly.

From the looks of it, it's not a case of "listening to the viewers". From what Danielle wrote, it sounds like the broadcast rights were for a one-off. They may not have the permission to do a repeat showing.

Hi all, I've been checking the Sky A-Z every day since the memorial service hoping it will be repeated and I have found it! I hope the Beeb don't mind me mentioning a different channel as we're all fans - the service will be repeated today at 11AM and 8PM (BST or GMT+1) on BET, which is Sky channel 191. It's also shown at 12PM and 9PM (BST or GMT+1) on BET +1, Sky channel 198. I'm recording as many showings as possible in the hope that weather won't mess up the recording again. Please circulate this as much as possible as there are many like myself that didn't get to see it and now have the chance.

I did not see the viewing of the memorial on BET channel Krayzee? It was not shown and did not appear on the EPG for SKYDigital. However, Danielle, I think you should air the service again on HD and try to edit it down by 30 minutes if you do, as there was a major delay at the start which takes up around 2-5% storage space on Sky + recorder.
