About this blog
As the July 2009 premiere of Bang Goes The Theory draws nearer, follow the action as BBC One builds a giant contraption that will put science to the test.
We asked for your help in its construction by voting for a method to transport presenter Dr Yan Wong across a 2.5m void. The choices were hydropower, magnetism, and pulleys and levers.
The vote is now closed and the winning option is magnetism.
