Hi Martin, love the colours at this time of year. Great selection of pics. There are great sounds too don't you think? Perhaps you could have people sending in sound clips too.
We get pink footed geese going over our house but we've another noisy individual that is around at dusk in my small Perthshire garden (SCO). I've absolutely no idea what it is. I've trawled through the RSPB site bird calls but am no closer to an ID. I'm assuming its a bird!
I've captured this call on video (blank black image)and wondered if anyone at the AW team could tell me. I'd love to know what it is. Where/how would I submit this to you?

is that maurice tibbles on the opening titles of unsprung? when I was a child in the 50's he lived with us for a while - and took photos of us when we were little - obviously scott is his son.....
