Welcome to the first of our fantastic Song Wars free downloads. While Adam and Joe are off picking fruit as a summer job, we thought we'd keep the spirit of Song Wars alive with a weekly download for you to treasure. Hi, Just wanted to tell you fine folks about the origins of this song wars suggestion. it was my husband jason who submitted the concept - to write any almost explicit song. he knew he was on to a winner immediately and was full of himself for days afterwards. during the week, the producers called him up and invited him to be on the show. another result or so he thought. come saturday he thought he'd go for a burn up on his motorbike before the show started. sadly the bike had a breakdown two miles down the road, so he had to push it back in a hurry to be home for 9.35, when the australian producer said she call. she did call at 9.35 but rung off so the 2 mile hike pushing a 25stone motorbike could have been taken more at a more leisurely pace. when poor jason did finally get to talk to adam & joe live, the ripped him the shreds, and implied he was a bit of a sicko. he's never come to terms with it and been a shadow of himself ever since. we divorced in january.

Very glad of these Song Wars podcasts, especially since the feature itself has AWOL from the main show of late.

As I find is usual, I much preferred Dr Sexy when I first heard them live but now I find that Adam's one is actually superior. Dirty, dirty robots.

Does anyone else realise there is a "real" song called Dirty Robot (non-plural) by The Lemonheads. It features Kate Moss (!) singing "No, I don't care for your metal looks. I don't care for your bleeps and bloops. Go away, why don't you just shut up?"
Genius. It's almost as silly as Adam's. (Almost).
