Are you confused by the mentions of the 'Stephen' shout-out on the show? Have you failed to listen regularly for the last year or two?
Then HOW DARE YOU! WHY NOT??? EXPLAIN YOURSELF! Actually, don't worry. Instead check out this brilliant animation created by brilliant animation-creating man Chris Bowles. All will be explained, this time with life-like, moving images to enjoy whilst listening. Great work from the Bowler!

Can I point out an interesting Stephen in a recent trailer for Torchwood? http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchwood/
It quite clearly features a lady-fan of Adam and Joe's calling out a Stephen at 00:12, with a rather creepy response from some children.

ps when you click the link (repeated below), select the video called 'Extended preview' from the showreel below the default video and go to about 00:12 (as Elbalug said) to witness this classic stephenage moment (surely this is a purposeful reference?)

That Torchwood thing is hilarious, and also very creepy. Can't be a coincidence, can it?
My 4 year old introduced me to Primeval a while back, and I was hypnotised by the high frequency of people shouting Stephen!. So much so I decided to turn the first episode into a mini Stephen! adventure.

Hey I just had a great weekend in the beautiful Kootenay's of British Columbia near where I live. I was attending the Hill's Garlic Festival and as me and my non-husband were entering he was detained, conversing with someone. We lost track of each other in the crowd and I spent the next 45 minutes looking for him. At one point I stood up on a park bench to get a better look. Since he and I had been just previously enjoying the Adam and Joe podcast in the car I had the urge and yelled out "Stephen". But no reply. I've decided I will take it upon myself to extend this strange but wonderful custom to our country. I'll let you know if I have any replies. Love the show. Thank you.
