Ulster Hall There will be no Across The Line programme tonight. Instead, ATL makes way for BBC Radio Ulster's annual 'Sing Carols' live from the Ulster Hall, Belfast.

Broadcast live from 8pm, the festivities will be presented by John Toal with a thousand strong audience singing along to carols accompanied by Stephen Hamill on the famous Mulholland organ. During the event, the Wireless Mystery Theatre Company will present extracts from Charles Dicken's 'A Christmas Carol'.

All the tickets have been allocated but you can listen live on BBC Radio Ulster from 8pm tonight.

Across the Line returns next week with it's own brand of christmas carols courtesy of some or Northern Ireland's best acts. Almost 30 new carols from the likes of Ryan Vail, David C Clements, Farriers, General Fiasco and Go Wolf will be part of ATL's two part alternative carol service in the fun up to Christmas.
