Public Enemy set to play Belfast

New York rap collective Public Enemy have announced a Belfast date as a part of a string of UK shows this summer.

The hip-hop outfit will have a full band in tow as they play an early evening show at Limelight 1 on Tuesday 5th August.

After over 25 years playing music they sit as one of only four hip-hop acts to feature in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run D.M.C. and The Beastie Boys. Their mainstream breakthrough coming in 1987 with their album ‘It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us back’
