Belfast Music Week Launch

Belfast Music Week launched its official programme today.

The event, which runs between 30th October – 6th November, will take place in over thirty venues across the city and is designed to showcase local music in the run up to the MTV European Music Awards on the 6th November.

Over a hundred bands are to perform over the week including General Fiasco, The Answer, Therapy, The Undertones, Ash, The Divine Comedy and Duke Special.

Other events include the Northern Ireland Music Awards and The Volume Control halloween event at the Ulster Hall – which you can hear live on Across The Line and will include bands such as A Plastic Rose, Colly Strings and Axis Of.
