Even before we caught on it's going to be free entry, this was an absolute belter of a scorcher of a total winner of a GOTW.

Four bands we love and playlist all the time, sharing a bill in a decent venue, all nicely MC'd by ATL chum and Radio Ulster presenter Colin Murray
- what's not to like?!

First up and fresh from Glasgowbury and Vital - RAM's Pocket Radio

'Any Derry and mid-Ulster shows we've done so far have had a special atmosphere' explained RAM's Pocket Radio's Pete McAuley.

'It's quite a different feel up there. My drummer is flying back from Cologne just in time for the show (very rock and roll!!) so it'll be special for us anyway.'

Then you've Kowalski, a band as awesome as they are hairy. Paddy from the band had this to say:

'We are really excited about playing in Londonderry this thursday, we dont get the chance to play in derry very often but when we do its always off the hook. Looking forward to meeting our brother Colin too!'

Add to that Intermission and the man who stole the show at Glasgowbury (that'll be Rainy Boy Sleep) and you've the most spicy of meatballs.

Oh, and did we say it was free in? We did aye....

RAM's Pocket Radio, Kowalski, Intermission and Rainy Boy Sleep play The Nerve Centre, Derry, this Thursday.
