Always good to give props to an all ages show, especially one hosted by the ever reliable Volume Control crew, who've put on all ages gigs from the likes of Ash to Cashier #9 at the Oh Yeah Centre in Belfast.

This week they've a belter quadruple bill, with the ever reliable theatrical wonderment that is Katie & The Carnival headlining. Also on the bill - Uber Glitterrati, The Dead Presidents and the constantly fizzing Wonder Villians.

Here's what Eimear from The Wonder Villains had to say about it all....

'We're super pumped to be playing Volume Control this Friday! We haven't played an underage show in Belfast in ages and they're always great fun cause we can just go MAD! Watch out for some crazy dance-pop moves!! We were hanging with the Volume Control team and Katie & the Carnival last weekend at Forfey, so it's gonna be some craic!! Can't waitttt!!'

While Katie from (you guessed it!) Katie and the Carnival said, "I love Volume Control - they organise their gigs so well and the audiences are always really lovely! We are bringing the very talented Rachel Sofley in who is 14 to sing one of her own songs with us aswell! Expect glitter, dance moves (with some guest dancers!!) and a lot of musical tom foolery!"

So yeah, we get the feeling Eimear and Katie are both up for this one....
