Rizzle Kicks
Supporting Plan B and Katy B
Thursday the 25th of August 2011

Describe in a tweet: A big old pile of silly.

What happened: Proper festival fun. Rizzle Kicks care not for being overly cool, they are here to get the party started. Two ridiculously likeable MCs are bounding about the stage, talking nonsense, showing off and generally being a little bit crazy. 'Miss Cigarette' sums up what they do nicely - daft lyrics and bouncy beats - it really is as simple as that. Even an entirely pointless run through the James Bond theme seems to make total sense in the middle of this performance.

Plan A: 'Down With the Trumpets' is the inevitable highlight. By the time they play it they're our best friends, which helps.

Plan B: Rizzle manages to slip and fall in a most undignified manner, but his indifferent reaction just makes us like him even more.

Rating: 8/10
