9.77 Seconds
So we went down to the Croydon athletics racing track to meet up with the second fastest man on the planet Asafa Powell. Asafa ran 100 meters in an incredible time of 9.77 seconds.
We spoke to him about the forthcoming Olympics, athletes taking performance enhancement drugs, making music with Movado, and how much money he's made from running.

These are the new Nike shoes that Asafa Powell and other top athletes are now wearing- reason being, they weigh less then a chocolate bar and are really aerodynamic.

Ace & Vis coming to Jamaica PT1
So you may or may not have noticed (we hope you did) but your boys Ace & Vis were not on air for the last week and a half. Shouts out to Twin B & Target for holding us down. Basically myself and Ace were in Jamaica shooting a programme for MTV Base called; Ace & Vis Coming to Jamaica. The programme is just a indepth Ace & Vis style look at music, lifestyle and adventures on the Island. On top of that we were on a seperate mission to find Ace a wife (Coming to America style) During our time out there we hit the legendeary Annual Reggae Sumfest festival. 3nights 30'000 people and some of the most recognised Reggae, Dancehall, Hip-hop & RnB acts in the world including Beenieman, Lil Wayne, Vybz Kartel, Movado, Akon, T-Pain, Busy signal...The list is too long, you have to wait for the show to see who else was on the bill. During the day we did Island adventures in including Bobsledding, swimming with dolphins and paragliding. Here are a few pics so you can get a taste of the action.

Eddie! You treat me like An-e-mall!!
Looks like its official. Eddie Murphy is giving up Hollywood to get back on stage. In the early 80's Eddie murphy was the king of the stand up. He is still considered one of the greatest of ALL TIME. Those that have seen "Delerious" or "Raw" would have to agree. Over the past 30 years Eddie has had a very sucsessfull movie career. Although during the last 10 years hes had some quite WACK movies (Bowfinger, Holyman, Daddy Daycare, Dr Doolittle, I spy, Showtime, Adventures of Pluto Nash, Norbit, The haunted mansion..okay I'll stop now). It seems Eddie is done making swag films and is going back to what he does best.
I was gonna post a clip of some old Eddie stand up footage but the online team would kick my m*****f*****g a** if I put up any f****** swearing on the blog. So go look for it yourself.
But the real question is can Eddie still do it??
Can he still compete with the likes of Chris Rock, Kat Williams or Dave Chappell??

I'm sure you already know but for those that have been sleeping under a rock somewhere, Dizzee is number 1 in the national charts!!! It's a great look for him especially considering the fact "Dance with me" was released on his own "Dirtee Stank" independent record label.
Congratulations Dizzee, well deserved.

iTunes Festival
My weekend has been crazy to say the least. As well as the SUPER SICK Trading Places Party, I went down to the iTunes Live Festival at KOKO, which will continue to take place all this month with some big name performances you might want to check out.
This weekend it was all about the UK`s SWAY, he showcased some new tunes off his forth coming album the "Signature LP" which sounds like it going to be a smash. Look out for his first single from the album featuring Lamar, it's a top ten all day I reckon...

Erykah Badu @ Brixton Academy - The Green Eyed Goddess is back in town.
So last night I hit the Brixton Academy in South london to see everyones favourite queen of Neo soul Miss Erykah Badu perform on her Vortex tour. The show was amazing. She rocked, The band was on fire and the crowd was going nuts. Here are some pics I took from the gig

Da Big 5! A week of Guests in the studio starts with Kid Sister!!
Who is she? Where's she from? What is she about?? Alot of you may not know much about Kid Sister except that she has one of the most infectious tunes "Pro Nails" currently being bumped on 1xtra. We hooked up with the Chi town native to find out what it was like to work with Kanye, Why a tune about nails and how she felt about other female rappers getting in trouble with the law.
