Save the FA CUP last eight for a end of season showpeice over 2 weeks ending with the FA CUP FINAL. The NFL end of season play offs culminate with the Super Bowl and its massive. The games would sell out and all other clubs fans would enjoy watching the FA CUP unfold. Not to mention thats two weekends in the season free for league fixtures.

Why not arrange the 3rd round draw so that you have Prem & Championship teams in one bag and the rest in another bag. You could alternate drawing from the bags so that there is equal home and away chances. This would create a much needed financial boost to the lower league teams who would be guaranteed facing a team from a higher division.

Ridiculous to give the 4th CL spot to the winners. Not only makes the problem worse by devaluing the winning of the competition itself but would also leave us with clubs like Wigan (no offence but not good enough) in the Champions league. I'd abolish replays and limit Wembley to just the final personally.

The team higher in the league at the time of the draw play away is a good one.
I always look for Prem teams away to lower league clubs. Its great to see the top 6/7 clubs away at League 2 teams early on.

The FA Cup should always come at the end of the season. It should be the showpiece regardless. Gaining a place in the Champions League would be pushing it too far. Into the Europa League is enough, but this should only be granted to the winner. If the winner has qualified for the Champions League, it should given to the team finishing 6th or 7th, depending on who has won the League Cup.

Also, only the final should be played at Wembley. The FA Cup is the showpiece, so give it the occasion it deserves.
