Spent a few minutes of my lecture this morning plotting the results needed for Liverpool to win the league. If they get all 24 points remaining, Chelsea won't win the league. So for Liverpool to win the title, Man City need to drop a couple points. I'm hoping for a last minute Andy Carroll goal to give West Ham a win on the last day, assisted by Downing. LFC players, unite!

Liverpool do not have an easy run in but at least they play teams at Anfield, where they have blown teams away. Their defence will be exposed by the big teams but when they have the two highest scorers in the league and have a team that understands and communicates with each other, then Liverpool can definitely win the title. I think they will fall just short but it shouldn't be ruled out.

Liverpool's attacking quartet; Suarez, Sturridge, Coutinho and Sterling all offer a different asset going forward whilst all additionally have an excellent work-rate for pressing when off the ball which is invaluable in the big games. LFC still have defensive issues to address, however, I actually think it will be the midfield battles against Chelsea, Spurs and City which will play the pivotal part in the title race. Henderson and Allen are excellent passers of the ball and offer so much energy, but it will be a great challenge for them to come out on top against the likes of Yaya Toure and Fernandinho. Gerrard is one booking away now from a two-game suspension which I really fear with these big games approaching. Lucas is still not match fit and it would be a big ask for him to come into the team with games of such high intensity and pressing. The Anfield crowd will certainly make Chelsea and City's visits a hostile environment to play in and I think it could ultimately prove to be a decisive factor to win the games. Not many teams win at Anfield when the crowd are really, really up for it.

Why not? Every pundit has written off liverpool for the title up until the utd game, but now we have a few heads turning. Whether liverpool win the title or not, they have been by far the most entertaining team this season and deserve to return to the champ league next season. I agree with Jason, Rodgers has been a revalation! He tinkers but not excessively, knows when to bring youngsters in and when they need to rest. The players trust him, and you can see they give 100% on the pitch for him.

Liverpool CAN win the league, if man utd were in the same position liverpool were in and playing a similar (amazing) style of football, there would be no question as to whether they can win it!

Don't think we'll make it this season but it's so good to be in the mix!
Reckon we can do City at home but Chelsea I'm worried about, they marked Suarez out of the reverse fixture in December. Hopefully it'll be different with both Suarez & Sturridge on the pitch this time. Mourinho will have a gameplan but so will Rodgers.
If Chelsea get through the Champions league quarter-final tie with PSG they'll have the semis either side of the Liverpool game which will bode well for us.
It's not in our hands & we'll probably have to win every single game for it to go down to the wire but the hope & belief amongst Liverpool fans is great to experience!
