After back to back defeats for England at Wembley, Jason Roberts picks the squad he would take to the World Cup in Brazil. This is his squad, if he was leaving tomorrow. Jason also picks the XI he would start in Brazil.

Let us know the squad you'd take by commenting below.

A couple of points. Welbeck is not a winger he is a centre-forward. That's where he scores goals. Why have Smalling when Richards can play CB and RB and he's a lot better at it.

My squad would be (assuming no injuries):
    Hart, Forster, Carson
Richards, Walker, Jagielka, Dawson, Cahill, Caulker, Rose, Shaw
Lennon, Milner, Gerrard, Chalobah, Shelvey, Ince, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Townsend
    Sturridge, Welbeck, Rooney, Sordell

    My starting XI would be:
    Walker, Jagielka, Dawson, Rose
    Lennon, Gerrard (DM), Shelvey(AM), Oxlade-Chamberlain
    Sturridge, Welbeck

I watched all of Team GB's games at the Olympics and Sordell did not look out of place playing with the likes of Giggs, Richards, Sturridge etc. He partnered Sturridge well, held the ball up well and should've been given a shot in the Premier League. He'll probably end up like Bradley Wright-Phillips in that he's talented but nobody in the top league wants him because he's English. He also won't have an ego the size of the house and will always give 100% effort for the team and I would use the World Cup as a learning experience and would use him in the Euro qualifiers.

Sordell is a ridiculous suggestion. Watched him many a time in the Championship and he is barely good enough at that level. Also Shelvey and Chabolah? Behave mate. Squad has to be.

    Hart, Foster, Forster.
Walker, Johnson, Cahill, Dawson, Jagielka, Jones, Cole, Baines
Milner, Townsend, Lampard, Gerrard, Wilshere, Barkley, Walcott
    Rooney, Welbeck, Carroll, Defoe.
