Overall my 24 hours in Birmingham for the Clothes Show Live was intensely hectic, as you can probably tell by all the blog posts! I made the discovery that it's official, girls are quite literally obsessed with clothes and I don't think that's ever gonna

I love popping in to see Jo Whiley and rounding up my Top of the Shops for Radio 1... After the Clothes Show Live experience yesterday I wanted to celebrate us as consumers, we're spoilt with concessions and designer collaborations galore..
So these were today's TOTS...
]]> 1. = Idol at New Look . The hands behind, leather, skull loving brand Religion have raised a credit crunching bar and launched a collection at New Look, it's an unexpected team up, but most of the pieces are darn good with as appealing prices.2. = Sonia Rykiel pour H&M! Vintage inspired delicious looking undies, I'm going to buy the mesh triangle bra with roses on the nips on the way home and gonna try it over a tight black tee? Could look ridiculous but it's worth a try.
3.= +J at Uniqlo. Jil Sander's collaboration with Uniqlo has been a smash, there is an bit of a bargain that you might want to get involved with as soon as possible gentlemen. A smart single breasted belted balck trench reduced to just under fifty quid.
PLEASE NOTE: A man in trench is usually a pullable look.

Whilst representing in Ayia Napa (for example, remember the 'Nelson Skank incident'?), earlier this year I soon realised that one of my roles here at 1Xtra was not to simply present a Breakfast show, but also to morph into some kind of 1X mascot, wherever I was sent in the world I would end up doing tasks & challenges of the most ridiculous nature.. Much to the amusement of fellow 1X DJs and hopefully you too? Don't get me wrong, I get a strange competitive satisfaction out of rising to the challenge and it means that I find myself in the most bizarre situations. So this time round I was sent northwards to be set three challenges by the Deputy Mayor himself in return for the key to the city!Plus watch this space for outfit changes and some special personal moments from 1Xtra Live.
There's loads to tell you, but if honest...... I'M CREAM CRACKERED and must go home & snooze.

After arriving in a teddy bear T-shirt, which I wasn't completely opposed to, we had some fun with some swank accesories.... But eventually....
Taddaaa! The reinvention of Jam! I felt like I wanted to connect Mistajam to the street, where the biggest look on road is a 'Star in the Hood' T-shirt, which I decided to take to the next level with matching hood / scarf / Shoal (inspired by the lovely Tinchy Stryder), add a pair of sunnies (to be worn at all times!) and if you look close enough you'll see his trainers are called 'Sir Jam's'. Amazing!

What do you think of Trev's new looks? Orginally I tried to go for a 'Carlton Banks' ,and though I adored him in a bow tie, developments led too a more 80's Ska kinda vibe coutesy of the vintage pork pie hat. I would love it it Trev announced to Dizzee to 12,000 people in this outfit of Sat!
