What you'll be doing

You will be working with a local Event Organiser to plan and manage a Blast event for 13-19yr olds. You'll be coming up with ideas for marketing and promotion based on your knowledge of youth in the area, helping with production schedules and event planning and working with local facilitators and youth arts organisations to promote the free workshops, master classes and showcases on offer. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the running of "Blast out Loud", Blast's on-site radio station. When the Blast truck arrives in town, you'll be signing people into sessions, supporting facilitators, photographing the event or even filming or stage managing a showcase.

The details

Work Experience placements are flexible in duration and last 1-3 weeks. Placements are unpaid and you'll need to cover your own travel expenses. Work Experience is run on a full-time basis and we may ask you to help out at the evening or weekend especially during event days.
