Title: Ed Sheeran Portrait '09

I chose to use Ed as the basis for the CD cover as his style of music and attitude towards his music showed a lot of passion. I was already familiar with some of Ed's work through myspace so i was already a fan. His use of lyrics and colour made my decision as to the art form i would use easy. Photo manipulation through photoshop is a passion of mine and i felt it would enable me to show colour in a vibrant way. I have shown the electric colours closing in on him, and having merged his portrait with the black background "reaching out" for the colour i felt it symbolised his need to sing and write songs as a must. Almost as if without it, he would go insane.
