The Webby Award winning Blast Studio was an innovative online and real time art installation allowing young people to dabble in their own creativity. It was designed to give you an opportunity to explore the creative artist within you and add your mark to a unique art installation that was created collaboratively over a period of four weeks.

Housed in the Topolski studio at London's Southbank Centre, the initiative allowed you to take control of four machines. Each machine provided the tools to remotely control how you could paint and design the space. Participants could choose between a cool glue gun, paint pellet machine, printer or hanging light strips all directed from their computer.

The Studio was live everyday between 12pm and 12am, from 12th May till 9th June 2009. You can find out more at*.

The Blast Studio won a Webby award in the Peoples Choice NETART category. More information about the winners and nominees can be found at The Webby Awards* website.
