Entry to the Game Design Competition by Grant who attended a FREE workshop at BBC Blast on tour in Ayr. Grant says 'The idea entered my mind when I wrote down all the characteristics of The Krulius and all the things may do. His main concern seems to be to collect specimens for future research; thus in the front of the spaceships is a vacuum type weapon to suck up the various aliens and humans. On either side of the wings is a test tube like object. The Krulius uses this to store the specimens while they are examined. Beneath the ships is a collection of many large test tubes where all of the aliens which are unused are stored. This design is especially suitable due to the fact that the ship has a feeling of evil, nastiness and maliciousness about it; which I feel that the creators of “The Krulius” were trying to achieve.'
