Title: Empty mirror

by Kieran from London | in writing, poetry

Cracks upon an empty mirror
No image to embrace or to distort
Maybe the mirror is a sign of fading
Emptiness has always been my friend
There is no heart
No soul
Just an empty vessel sailing to nowhere
Where is the glimmer of hope?
Where is the bright light
Of love and light?
That sparkles so proudly
Not here
The empty mirror has no image
Maybe we are not so different
As a mirror is just an object
With no heart or soul
Just an empty vessel sailing to nowhere
