Rolf Harris hosts the 4 week series exploring the basics of portraiture which offers a fresh look at four well-known British stars. Why not go to the gallery and find out who the celebrities are!

Each week Rolf reveals the identity of the star to three artists who then have 5 hours with the star to begin painting and another two weeks in their studios to finish off.

After hours of sitting and weeks of waiting, forbidden to see the work in progress, the portraits are unveiled to the excited star who can pick one to take one home.

David Dickinson is actually moved to tears when he sees the three paintings of himself. It's a tough job for the Bargain Hunt presenter to decide which one to take home, but eventually, through teary eyes, he makes his choice and goes away delighted.

Michael Parkinson was painted in his favourite setting - Bray Cricket Club in Berkshire "It's interesting to know how other people view you...I didn't think for a moment that they could come up with three such different propositions."

The backdrop for gardening star Charlie Dimmock is one of her favourite gardens at Motissfont Abbey near the new Forest.

Meera Syal, best known as Grandma in The Kumars at No 42, was painted on the set of Bombay Dreams, which she wrote the original script for. "Each one of them was a delicious surprise every time" said Meera before picking one to take home with her.
