Take the first ever guided history walk around the Victorian East Park in Bilston.

Rangers Tom Weaver and Darren Charlesworth will be leading the first ever guided history walk around East Park in Bilston tomorrow, Saturday, 4 October 2008.

The event will give people the chance to learn more about the history of the Victorian park, and about the ongoing work to restore it.

Fascinating Victorian park

Cabinet Member for Leisure and Culture Matthew Holdcroft said: "East Park is a fascinating public space and one that we are working hard to restore to its former glory.

"Saturday’s guided walk is just one of a number of events for all the family that we are pleased to offer at Wolverhampton’s parks and recreational attractions over the coming months, ranging from guided walks to Halloween and Christmas-themed workshops."
