Run at the TUBE in association with Funked Up, TABOO brings to Wolverhampton some of the Midlands finest funky house DJ’s, all having played at big name Clubs such as Godskitchen, Funkissential, Slinky and Pharmacy to name but a few. TUBE for those of you that don’t know, is one of the funkiest venues in Wolverhampton. Adorned with lush sofas, dj booth suspended from chains and even a patio garden – which will be in full use as the Summer kicks in !!! Each week TABOO sees a selection of the Funked Up agencies very own DJ’s gracing the decks, along with weekly special guests. The fun all kicks off at 8pm through to 1am, with DJ’s on rotation along with cheap drinks !

Funked Up itself is the sister agency to the mightly successful Clubbed Up, a Hard Dance DJ agency based in the Midlands, run by local DJ’s Nice Guy Danny, Reds and Steve Arnold. As if this wasn’t enough to keep them busy, Clubbed Up also runs a weekly radio show, broadcast every Friday night from 7-9pm (www.clubbedup.co.uk) or on 1350am around The Black Country. Industry demand led to Clubbed Up expanding and introducing Funked Up, which in the 1st month of its creation has secured a weekly event along with numerous dates / nights in the future. One of these being at The Canal Clubs hugely successful Pharmacy night, which sees Funked Up’s finest playing alongside house legend Norman Jay.
