Advertisements (General)

When you tackle a General level reading paper, it is likely that you will have to answer severalquestions based on an advertisement for a product or a service which youcan obtain.

An advert is different fromother reading material in several ways:

  • There is normally less language to read
  • You are drawn to language by bigger type etc.
  • There are often slogans, banners, or headlines
  • The advert might contain lists of information
