Reaction masses - Test

1.

Use a Periodic Table to find the relative atomic mass of zinc (Zn).

2.

Calculate the relative formula mass of aluminium oxide, Al2O3. (Al = 27, O = 16)

3.

The total mass of reactants used in a reaction was 52g. What is the total mass of product that could be produced?

4.

Although 52 tonnes was the predicted mass of product for a chemical process only 45.24 tonnes was actually collected. Work out the percentage yield.

5.

When 4g of hydrogen are burned 36g of water are obtained. How much water could be obtained from 1g of hydrogen?
